Abstract
FIELD: electric engineering, plasma devices. SUBSTANCE: device has current source, circuit breaker, two hole coaxial electrodes which ends are flat. They are located in sealed housing which size is greater than volume of inter-electrode gap by 10-100 times. Ends of electrodes have holes which width d in azimuth direction is greater than size of inter-electrode gap and width of joints between holes but is less than width of hole in radial direction. When current pulse runs, plasma which is evaporated from surface of electrodes after circuit breaking leaks into sealed housing through holes. This results in increased weight and pressure of plasma in inter-electrode gap and increased transmission of electromagnetic power for heavy current density. EFFECT: decreased influence of evaporated material of current- supply electrodes. 2 dwg
