The invention relates to methods for lining metals on the inner walls of pressure vessels and can be used in chemical engineering. The purpose of the invention is to improve the quality of welded joints by protecting the root of the seam against the effects of active air gases. The sheets 3 of the lining are placed on the inner surface of the walls 1 of the pressure vessel, having the edges of the sheets on the linings 2 placed in the slots of the walls 1 of the vessel. The edges of the sheets 3 are welded to the lining 2 across its entire surface by roller contact or capacitor welding, forming seams 4, and then the tightness of the welded joints obtained is carried out. In case of positive control results, the edges of the sheets 3 are welded by fusion arc welding to form a seam 5. Reliable isolation of the root zone of the seam 5 from the effect of active air gases on the molten metal increases the corrosion resistance of the welded joint and reduces the nitrogen and hydrogen content in the weld metal. 1 il. 1 tab.
Description
The invention relates to methods for lining with metals of the inner walls of pressure vessels and can be used in chemical engineering.
The aim of the invention is to improve the quality of welded joints by protecting the weld root from exposure to active air gases.
The drawing shows a diagram of the method.
The method is as follows.
On the inner surface of the pressure vessel 1, grooves are made in which linings 2 are made of the material of the lining sheets 3. The sheets 3 of the lining are placed on the inner walls of the vessel 1 so that their edges are located on the linings 2 installed in the grooves of the walls of the vessel 1. The edges of the sheets 1 of the lining are welded by roller contact or capacitor welding to the lining 2, and then a seam connecting the edges is made by fusion welding sheets of 3 lining. Before making the seam by arc welding by fusion welding, the seams 4 made by roller contact or capacitor welding are subjected to leak testing using a helium leak detector. In the case of positive control results, weld 5 is performed by fusion arc welding, in which they do not protect the root of the seam with protective gas due to the reliable isolation of heated sections of the root of the seam from the action of active air gases by sealing the space located on the back of the weld and limited by a lining and two seams made by contact welding.
The optimal thickness of the lining is chosen equal to at least two thicknesses of the lining sheets, the width of the lining is selected experimentally so that the edges of the sheets in the heat-affected zone are not heated above
400...500°С.400 ... 500 ° C.
The lining of the experimental steel column with an Lr — 1% Nb alloy 1 mm thick using argon arc welding was carried out as follows.
The lining with a width of 10 mm and a thickness of 2 mm was welded symmetrically to the edges of the workpieces by roller contact welding. Then, in the Vcb mode = 40 m / h; 1sv = - 100 A; CD = 13 V, the edges were welded between themselves and the lining. The penetration depth of the lining was 0.3 ... 0.32 mm. In the same mode, the joints were welded without preliminary welding of the lining by roller contact welding. Argon did not produce additional protection of the weld root. The quality of the welds was determined by the content of oxygen, nitrogen and hydrogen in the weld metal, the corrosion resistance of the welded joints in 20% hydrochloric acid at a boiling point of ммι mm / year and impact bending of the weld metal after grinding the lining.
The test results are shown in the table.
The method can significantly improve the quality of welded joints. A sharp decrease in the corrosion rate and an increase in a are due to a decrease in harmful impurities of nitrogen and hydrogen in the weld metal.
