The device for monitoring the health of regenerators contains 1 unit 2 signal combiners, a separator 3 control signals, an analyzer 4 response signals, a signaling unit 5 and an analyzer of b address, and each unattended regeneration unit (NRP) 7 contains the first one block 8 combining signals, the first regenerator 9, the first allocator 10 clock frequency, the first detector 11 errors, the first integrator 12, the second block 13 combining signals, the second regenerator 14, the second amplifier 15 clock frequency, the second d error vector 16, second integrator 17, modulator 18, first 19 and second 20 code restorators, first 21 and second 22 switches, OR element 23 and code combination generator 24, each code restorer 19 and 20 containing decoder 25 and encoder 26, and PIU and SLF 7 are connected by the reverse direction 27 of the linear path.
The device operates as follows.
At the transmitting stations of the forward and reverse paths, as is known, the useful information signal is converted before it is fed to the path c. using one of the linear codes. The converted signal is fed to the input of the path and, passing through all the regenerators of the main line, gets to the output of the path of the receiving station, where the information signal is inversely converted and then processed.
In each NRP 7 in the regenerators there is a correction of the linear distortions introduced by the cable sections into the information signal. In addition, in each NRP 7, the errors that occur in the information signal due to the operation of the regenerators are constantly monitored. If the value of the error coefficient does not exceed the specified limits, then the logic 0 signal is present at all outputs of the integrators 12 and 17. Therefore, the output of the OR 23 element also contains the logic 0 signal and the code combinations are not read from the generator 24. At the same time, the logical “0” signal is supplied to the control inputs of the switches 21 and 22. In this case, information is transmitted directly from the first outputs of the clock regenerators of the digital transmission system, which is necessary to ensure the operation of the regenerators 9 and 14 and the error detectors 11 and 16.
18.The clock signal as a reference signal is used to form intervals for calculating the error coefficient of the information signal in the integrators 12 and 17. In addition, the clock signal of the isolator Yu is supplied to the input of the generator 24 and is used in it to generate the clock signals of the parallel recording, the serial clock speed read, and the local oscillator frequency for the modulator 18.
1.Since the control of the parameters of the forward and reverse paths is carried out the same way, the operation of the device can be considered on the example of damage that occurs, for example, in the direct path. If damage occurs, i.e., if the error coefficient exceeds one of the specified thresholds, a logical 1 signal appears at one of the information and control outputs of the integrator 12.
The logical 1 signal is supplied to the control input of the switch 21, the output of the switch 21 is switched to the second input associated with the output of the code restorer 19.
Thus, the information signal in the linear code from the first output of the first regenerator 9 is supplied to block 8 through the first code reducer 19. The recovery process of the Linear code can be illustrated using time charts (figure 2). The timing diagram of FIG. 2a shows an example of a fragment of an information signal arriving at a code conversion at a transmitting station. On Fig shows an information signal, converted, for example, using a code with alternating pulse polarity (NPI). This is a three-level signal, providing an alternation of polarity of logical 1, in place of logical 0 in the information signal in the code of the NPI interval. The signal in the linear code, passing through all the URF 7 of the linear path, is fed to the receiving station, where the information signal is inversely converted. If the equipment of the linear path is serviceable, then at the output of the linear path after the conversion there is a two-level structure and no signal signal occurs with the diagram.
8.If damage occurs in any of the NRF 7, a violation of the linear Code occurs (Fig.2c). In this case, in the decoder 25 of the code recovery unit 19 of the damaged NRF 7, the linear code is converted into a two-level signal. The conversion takes into account the violation of the linear code (Fig.2g). The obtained two-level pulse sequence, which differs from the original one (Fig. 2a), is again converted to the selected linear code in the encoder 26 of the reducing agent (Fig. 2e). The information signal from the output of the reducing agent is the input of the block from the output path, the information signal with the corrected linear code is transmitted, then in all the URF 7, which are in the linear path behind the damaged URT 7, the control devices are in the initial state, i.e. an information signal is transmitted from the first output of the first regenerator 9, the input of the switch 21 to the signal in accordance with fig. 2a, i.e. no changes in the code19 information are supplied to the on-switch 21 and then to the8 on the linear path. Since the damaged URP 7 in line through the first block 8.
In a damaged URF, an increase in the error coefficient is determined using the error detector 11 and the integrator 12. The information arising in the integrator 12 from the information outputs in a parallel code is written to the lower bits of the register and eliminating the output, the signal is fed
18.1555877 6 nerator 24 under the influence of clock pulses of parallel recording. '* Logical ”1 from the control output of the first integrator 12 through the OR element 23 puts the register of the generator 24 into sequential read mode. The information is read from the highest level of the register of the generator 24. The speed of reading information is determined by the · pulse repetition rate of sequential reads. Reading of information is carried out constantly, up to damage. From the second torus 24, the local oscillator to the modulator 18.
Thus, from the information output of the generator 24 to the information inputs of the modulator 18 a digital signal is supplied containing the address information of the part. The address part carries information about the number of the faulty UHF /. The information part is about the threshold and direction of transmission of the linear (nature of damage) path. The digital signal modulated in modulator 18 is fed to the second inputs of blocks 8 and 13, where the useful information signal is combined with digital control signals. Having passed along the linear path, this information is fed to the terminal control devices of both the forward and reverse paths.
In PPR 1 there is a separation of the information flow, and control signals in the block. Then, in the isolator 6, the control signals are amplified and these signals are converted into bipolar rectangular pulses, which are fed to the inputs of the analyzer 4 of the response signals and address analyzer 6. Under the influence of the signal analyzer 4 and 6 in the display unit 5 is switched damaged rooms 1 dennogo NPF 7 and nature of the damage.
After the damage is restored at the information and control outputs of the integrator 12 sets-? logical signal O. Therefore, the first switch 21 is returned to its original state, disconnecting the first code restorer 19 from the second input of the switch 21. The information signal from the first output of the first
На выходе элемента ИЛИ 23 устанавливается сиг-ί нал логического О.Ί generator 9 is fed back to the first input of the switch 21. At the output of the OR element 23, a signal is set on logical O.
The control device is again ready to receive information.
14.Similarly to the described operation of the monitoring device when damage occurs in the second regenerator 14.
