Abstract
ч. This invention relates to cellulose acetate technology and can be used in the preparation of fibers, films and plastics. The invention allows to simplify the process (reduce the number of stages of acetylation from three to two) and reduce the consumption of acetic anhydride from 292 to 252 parts by weight. per 100 wt.h. cellulose, which is achieved by treating the activated cellulose with an acetylating mixture in two stages: first with a mixture containing 160 wt.h. acetic anhydride, 365 wt.h. methylene chloride, 0.4 wt.h. sulfuric acid and 0.5 - 0.0 wt.h. formaldehyde, and then a mixture containing 92 wt.h. acetic anhydride, 130 wt.h. methylene chloride and 0.14 wt.h. perchloric acid per 100 wt.h. pulp. 1 tab.
Description
This invention relates to cellulose acetate technology and can be used in the preparation of fibers, films and plastics.
The purpose of the invention is to simplify the process and reduce the consumption of acetic anhydride
ч. 1,Example 1. 100 mach. wood pulp activate 40 mach. acetic acid for 2.5 h at 45 ± 1 ° C, then the activated cellulose is cooled to 20 + 2 ° C and treated with acetylating mixtures, the composition of which is given in table. one,
The cellulose is treated with the first acetylating mixture at 20 ± 2 ° C for 0.5 h and then when the temperature of the reaction mixture rises to 34 ± 1 ° C for 2.5 + 0.5 h, followed by cooling to 20: g1 ° C. The treatment with the second acetylating mixture is carried out until the unreacted fibers disappear in the solution and the required viscosity is reached. The temperature during processing rises from 20 ± 1 to 45 ° C, the holding temperature of the syrup 40 ± 1 ° C.
Next, the cellulose triacetate is hydrolyzed in the presence of sulfuric acid to a bound content of 54.7%, the product is precipitated with 5.3% CHjCOOH, crushed, washed at 60 ° C to zero acidity and dried in a vacuum dryer at 75 ° C .

3).keeping formaldehyde in an acetylating mixture (see Table 3).
2.Example 6 (gogo known method). 100 ma.ch. cotton cellulose subjected to an activating treatment 40 wt.h. glacial acetic acid, then treated with 175 parts by weight of acetic anhydride for 30 minutes at 20 ° C and esterified in three stages with acetyl mixtures, the composition of which is given in table. 2
The treatment of activated cellulose4 with the first acetylating mixture is carried out for 1.5 h at 20–35 ° C, with the second acetylating mixture for 1 h at 20–22 ° C, with the third acetylating mixture at the maximum temperature not higher than 35 ° C until the unreacted cellulose fibers disappear in the solution and the desired viscosity is reached. Next, the product is hydrolyzed, planted, crushed, washed and dried.
The properties of the finished product are given in table.
The process according to the method proposed is simplified by shortening the acetylation steps.
