Abstract
The invention relates to accelerated life tests of heat pipes and improves the accuracy in determining their life. During testing, the heat pipe is installed horizontally and a constant heat flow (its value lies in the working range of the pipe) is supplied in the evaporation zone, and in the condensation zone the heat flow is diverted only to its part adjacent to the end of the pipe body, which ensures a higher The temperature growth rate of the pipe as compared with field tests (the temperature in both cases rises due to the appearance of non-condensing gas in the pipe). The tests are carried out to a predetermined maximum temperature of the adiabatic zone of the pipe, which determines the limit of its working capacity.
Description
FIELD OF THE INVENTION The invention relates to heat engineering, namely to heat transfer devices.
The purpose of the invention is to improve accuracy.
The method is carried out as follows.
A heat pipe, e.g. a cylindrical pipe, is installed horizontally and a constant heat flow (e.g., an ohmic heater) is supplied to its evaporation zone, the value of which is in the working range of the pipe, and the condensation zone is cooled to a portion of its length adjacent to (0.15-0.90) 1H, where 1H is the length of the condensation zone during field tests. The initial temperature of the pipe is chosen the same
Испытани провод т до некоторой максимальной температуры, котора характеризует предел работоЈДas in the field tests (to ensure this condition, the temperature of the cooling condensation zone of the medium must be reduced). When conducting accelerated tests, as the non-condensing gas is formed and accumulated in the pipe, its temperature increases faster than in the case of full-scale tests, since the fraction of the internal surface of the pipe in the condensation zone blocked by the gas is greater. At the same time, the temperature of the heat carrier steam (or the case temperature in the heat-insulated transport zone) passes all the same values as in full-scale tests, but in less time. The tests are carried out up to a certain maximum temperature, which characterizes the working-up limit.
