Имитатор тепловыделяющего элемента ядерного реактора, включающий оболочку и трубчатый электронагревательный элемент с переменной толщиной стенки, размещенный внутри оболочки, электроизоляционный материал между оболочкой и трубчатым электронагревательным элементом, а также порошкообразный наполнитель из материала ядерного топлива внутри трубчатого электронагревательного элемента, отличающийся тем, что, с целью повышения точности имитации поведения тепловыделяющего элемента ядерного реактора в аварийных ситуациях с высокими удельными энерговыделениями, приводящими к расплавлению ядерного топлива, выходу его из-под оболочки и взаимодействию расплавленного ядерного топлива с жидкометаллическим теплоносителем, внутри трубчатого электронагревательного элемента по его оси размещен другой электронагревательный элемент в виде стержня из тугоплавкого металла, на конце которого в зоне минимальной толщины стенки трубчатого электронагревательного элемента закреплена таблетка ядерного топлива с обеспечением ее электрического контакта со стержнем.2.
