Цель изобретения — повышение прочности ящика и удобства его эксплуатации. Ящик содержит торцовые 1 и боковые 2 стенки, крышку 7 и дно, образованное двумя поперечными крепежными брусьями 8 с наклонными пазами под строповочные элементы, полоз 11, длина которого не превышает расстояния между наружными боковыми поверхностями поперечных крепежных брусьев 8, продольный настил с закрепленными на нижней поверхности концевых участков поперечными пластинами. Ящик снабжен раскосами 16, один конец каждого из которых скреплен с поперечной пластиной, а второй размещен в пазу, образованном на торце полоза 11. Размещение раскосов 16 между поперечными пластинами и полозом 11 позволяет заменить в нем напряжение поперечного изгиба на продольный изгиб в раскосах 16, что обеспечивает значительное уменьшение площади поперечного сечения полоза 11, а следовательно, и снижение материалоемкости.
