Abstract

FIELD: iron metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of steel with deep blowing metal smelt with oxygen-containing gases in hearth furnaces. Invention objective is to increase stability of stationary deep oxygen lances with furnace lining in metal blowing zone and to reduce consumption of power carriers (fuel, oxygen, cast iron). To achieve this objective, in a method including charging furnace, heating the charge, pouring in liquid cast iron, smelting the charge, and performing heat finishing by means of entering oxygen through stationary lances below level of metal, a portion of oxygen, according to invention, is entered through additional roof lances under metal level to the depth 0.01-0.3 that of fusion with ratio of oxygen input through roof lances to that through stationary lances being 0.5-1.5 and joint blowing time being equal to 0.1-0.8 part of blowing time through stationary lances. Lance stability is increased by 1.5-2 times. EFFECT: increased lance stability and reduced fuel and cast iron consumption. 2 cl, 2 dwg, 3 tbl
