Предлагаемый дифференциальный фотометр отличаетс  от известных тем, что дл  обеспечени  стабильной и точной работы в нем применена система, след ща  на своей частоте за сохранение м равенства чувствительности двух примен емых фотоумнонсителей. Эта система состоит из вспОМогательного источника света, модулирующего устройства, периодически направл ющего свет от вспомогательного источника поочередно то на один, то на другой ФЭУ, и исполнительного устройства, регулирующего чувствительность обоих ФЭУ.The proposed differential photometer differs from the known ones in that in order to ensure stable and accurate operation, a system is used in it, which follows at its frequency that the sensitivity of the two applied photo multipliers is equal. Пучок света от вспомогательного источника 7 делитс  на две части зеркальной призмой 2   обе его части направл ютс  на катоды ФЭУ 3 п4 зеркалами 5. На пути светового пучка имеетс  колеблюща с  пластинка 6 (модулирующее устройство), поочередно посылающа  пучок света то на один, то на другой ФЭУ. Вследствие этого фототоки ФЭУ будут .периодически измен ть свои величины, наход сь в противофазе друг с другом. Переменные составл ющие фототоков обоих ФЭУ суммируютс  в суммирующем усилителе 7. При равенстве чувствительностей обоих ФЭУ переменные составл ющие их фототоков равны и выходной сигнал усилител  7 равен нулю. При нарушении равенства чувствительностей на выходе усилител  по вл етс  сигнал соответствующей величины и фазы. Этот сигнал ошибки действует на исполнительный блок 8, который, перемеща  движок потенциометра 9, производит перераспределение питающих напр жений от блока 10 питани  между обоими ФЭУ таким образом, чтобы сделать равными их чувствительности .A beam of light from auxiliary source 7 is divided into two parts by a mirror prism 2, both of which are directed to the cathodes of a photomultiplier 3 p4 by mirrors 5. This error signal acts on the executive unit 8, which, by moving the potentiometer slider 9, redistributes the supply voltages from the power supply unit 10 between the two PMTs in such a way as to make their sensitivity equal.
