Description
Rotameters are known with the use of tubes with a small taper, and because of the difficulty of manufacturing such tubes, the measurement accuracy of the instruments is not sufficiently high. The described instrument differs from the known ones in that it uses two coaxially arranged, forming a common channel, conical tubes. One of the conical tubes May be, if necessary, for: replaced cylindrical. In the tubes there are floats connected by a rod, which moves along the channel depending on the flow rate of the medium flowing through the rotameter. Such a rotameter design allows for improved measurement accuracy.
The design of the rotameter is shown in the drawing.
5.The flow of fluid passes successively through the conical tubes / and 2, which are located coaxially. The cross sections of the holes of small diameters of both tubes are directed towards each other - the taper of the tube / exceeds the taper of tube 2. In each of the tubes there is a float: in the tube / float 5, and in the tube 2 float 4. The floats are connected by a rod 5.
ние равновеси .If the fluid flow rate increases, this will lead to an increase in the forces acting on the floats. The floats along with the rod will begin to rise. In this case, the force perceived by the upper float 3 will begin to decrease, and the force perceived by the lower float 4 will increase. The sizes of the floats and tubes are selected so that the increase in the force acting on the float 4 is smaller than the decrease in the force applied to the float 5 This ensures that the associated floats move to a new stable equilibrium state.
The described rotameter can be applied, for example, in the case of nnemocontrol and testing the performance of the injectors.

A rotameter, characterized in that, in order to improve the measurement accuracy, it is made in the form of two coacially arranged conical (or one of them cylindrical) tubes forming a common channel, with floats placed in each of them, connected by a rod moving along the channel depending on flow rate flowing through the flowmeter environment.
