Abstract
The invention relates to welding, in particular, to the compositions of electrode coatings for manual electric arc welding of low carbon and low alloy steels, mainly under mounting conditions. The purpose of the invention is to improve the welding-technological properties while reducing the thickness of the coating to a value at which the ratio of the mass of the coating is less than 32-33%. The composition allows, at thin coating thicknesses, to obtain well-formed rutile slag. This ensures the retention of the molten weld metal and its good formation during welding in the ceiling and vertical positions. The coating composition contains, wt%: rutile 40-46, nepheline concentrate 12-16, talc 5-10, ferromanganese 12-14, marble 7-11, cellulose 5-8, and the iron-containing component else. Moreover, nepheline concentrate and rutile are taken at a ratio of 0.30-0.36, and cellulose and marble refer to the total amount of nepheline concentrate and rutile, respectively, as (0.08-0.15) and (0.11-0.17) . The presence of nepheline concentrate in the indicated ratio to rutile makes it possible to obtain slag with a high forming capacity, as well as good arc stability and slag separation. This ratio of slag-forming rutile and nepheline concentrate to gas-forming, cellulose and marble, provides a gas phase pressure from the sleeve P g ≥0.3 g / cm 2 , sufficient to prevent pore formation under the influence of the wind during the welding process in assembly conditions. 1 tab.
Description
ги, но формирование шлака и его отделимость , не удовлетворительны.gi, but the formation of slag and its separability are not satisfactory.
Reducing the amount of nepheline concentrate in relation to rutile leads to a decrease in arc stability and deterioration of the formation of a seam.
Такое давление необходимо поддерживать, чтобы предотвратить порообразование при воздействии ветра в процессе сварки в монтажных услови х .The indicated ratio of slag-forming - rutile and nepheline concentrate to gas-forming - cellulose and marble provides the gas phase pressure from sleeve A of 0.3 g / cm2. Such pressure must be maintained in order to prevent pore formation when exposed to wind during welding in assembly conditions.
Increasing the upper value of the ratio in the direction of increasing cellulose results in splashing of the metal. The lower limit is determined by the condition of no pore formation in the seams.
Increasing the upper value of the ratio in the direction of increasing marble leads to splashing of metal and deterioration of the formation of the seam. The lower limit is determined by the condition of no pore formation in the seams.
The amount of talc added is determined by the plastic properties of the coating mass. An increase in the amount of talc leads to a deterioration in the formation of a seam, and a decrease to a deterioration of the compressible ™ coating compound.
Нижний предел выбран из услови по влени эффекта от введени ферромарганца .The amount of ferromanganese is calculated on the basis of the required strength of the weld metal. The introduction of ferromanganese beyond the specified upper limit leads to increased cracking. The lower limit is selected from the condition of the effect of the introduction of ferromanganese.
The iron-containing component is incorporated in the coating to increase the arc stability. The iron-containing component is introduced into the composition in the form of iron powder and / or hematite and / or ferro-titanium.

Пригодность каждой партии определ етс также сварочно-технологическими свойствами: отделимостью шлака, качеством формировани шва, стабильностью горени дуги, стойкостью против порообразовани .The suitability of each batch is also determined by the welding-technological properties: slag separability, quality of seam formation, arc stability, resistance to pore formation.
