Целью изобретени вл етс увеличение угловой апертуры модул тора при одновременном упрощении конструкции. Цель достигаетс посредством компенсации естественного двулучепреломлени . Дл этого модул тор выполн ют в виде электрооптического кристалла и дополнительного одноосного кристалла Z-среза, причем длины этих кристаллов св заны соотношением L=*98MЪN2LЪ/*98MNЪ2, где μЪ, NЪ и *98M, N - коэффициенты двулучепреломлени и преломлени соответственно электрооптического и дополнительного кристаллов. 1 ил.The invention relates to technical physics and can be used in optoelectronic systems for modulating light.
