Abstract
The invention relates to agriculture and forestry, to methods of restoring plantings and shelter belts from root-shedding tree species. The purpose of the invention is to reduce the costs of restoring drying plants. To do this, after cutting the trunks of trees in upset or drying out plantings to the stump, the places of appearance of root offspring are formed by wounding the roots of mother trees by handicrafts of cracks or pricks to a depth of 15-25 cm in 1.5-2.0 m intervals. 1 tab.

The invention relates to forestry and agriculture, to methods of restoring plantings, and can be used mainly in artificial forest plantations cultivated by row planting or sowing.
The purpose of the invention is to reduce the costs of restoring drying plants.
FIG. Figure 1 shows schematically a drying forest line with preserved boulders from cut trees; in fig. 2 - the same, with cut holes; in fig. 3 is a diagram of the unit for the crafts of slits with a disk working body, side view; in fig. 4 - the same plan.
The method of coarse resumption of stalked tree species in perishing protective forests is carried out as follows.
2.Dry and weakened trees are cut to stump 1 with a height of mon above the ground no more than 5-10 cm (Fig. 1). At the places of the future trees, the pits mark the places of the slots 2.
Wounds of roots 3 (Fig. 3) of fallen trees are produced by crafting cracks to a depth of 25 ± 5 cm. The distance between the gaps is 1.5-2.0 m. The gaps to the axis of the fallen row are placed at an angle of 30-45 °. In order to increase the level of mechanization of the reforestation, the crafts of the slots are manufactured in an aggregate made in the form of a base tractor 4 and a mounted implement. In order to reveal the optimum depth of the gaps for wounding the lateral roots, similar areas are counted depending on their different depths and the number of pricks on the roots of the coppice trees - white acacia, which grew in areas with different depths, the crafts of the crack.
The table shows the number of growing shoots by 1.5 nor. m depending on the depth of the gap and the number of pricks produced at the age of three.

The shoots are with a depth of crafts cracks 15-25 cm and the number of pricks from 9 to 11 pieces. The best indicators of growth energy were noted when applying the method before the beginning of the growing season. At the lateral roots of the trees, in the wounds of the roots, the awakening of the sleeping vegetative buds is stimulated. Out of them, a shoot is formed with leaves and adventitious roots appear. This is facilitated by the contact of their buds with loose and moist soil. It uses the ability of many tree-shrub species to restore the damaged or felled part due to adventitious (adventitious) buds on the roots, the place of the foundation of which is cork cambium and pericycle.

The use of the invention provides an opportunity to increase root-sprout growth ability up to 100% with elimination of sparseness in a number of forest stands. Of particular importance is the protective afforestation.
