Description
The proposed method for producing skin surrogates from garbage from the shoe and leather industry in the form of fine chips and all kinds of scrap of old, second-hand leather is based on the known processing of proteins with phenolic resins. For this purpose, fine chips, garbage from chrome leather, or small tanning vegetable tanning chips are collected and thoroughly mixed with proteins treated with phenolic resins. With an atom, swelling and adhesion of individual fibers of the skin are observed. Then, the soaked leather chips are molded and placed under the press; as a result of pressing, a perfectly uniform, dense, elastic skin is obtained, which, after drying and proper removal of moisture, becomes resilient and durable. The skin, sufficiently dried, is placed in a heated press, under the pressure of which the surrogate of the skin acquires its final appearance. The material obtained in this way is not affected by water and, being placed in water even for several days, does not undergo any change. In heated water, this skin becomes soft, its elasticity increases significantly, but here the skin still does not soak. Special
п. материалы.durability has a skin substitute derived from shavings of chrome leather; it can serve as a sole material, especially for summer shoes. Unlike chromic, fine shavings of vegetable tanning gives a harder, coarser, less elastic skin that can be successfully applied to heels and nabokov. But if you take a leather strap instead of small chips, which is obtained by gouging the skin, smearing each protein with phenolic resins separately and applying one to another to a known thickness, and then pressing it in, the leather is strong, resilient and quite elastic, suitable and for the sole. In order to obtain thick plantar skin, this method can also be used for all other thin leathers, used old leathers, used belts, etc. Materials.
Example 1. 1 kg of not completely dried, still wet, chrome chips are treated with 500 g of protein varnish consisting of protein (e.g. casein) dissolved in 5-6 parts of alkaline water and then treated with half (by weight of casein) amount of liquid, water soluble, condensation product of phenol with formalin. Next with
Весь процесс образовани суррогата протекает быстро, заканчива сь в течение, примерно, 30-60 минут.mixture do as described in the description. The whole process of the formation of a surrogate proceeds rapidly, ending in about 30-60 minutes.
Example 2. Approximately 1 to 1.5 kg of protein varnish specified in Example 1 is taken per kg of dry vegetable tanning chips. However, chips that are pre-wetted with water require less varnish for soaking, depending on the degree of humidity. In the future, with
1.the mixture does the same as indicated in example 1.
