Abstract

The invention relates to a motor vehicle wheel comprising at least two pneumatic tyres, mounted side by side on assembled corresponding rims, or on the same rim. This wheel comprises a thin separation annulus 10 arranged coaxially between two contiguous pneumatic tyres. The annulus 10 is made from a flexible material of greater hardness than that of the material forming the side walls of the pneumatic tyres and thus allows friction between these tyres to be reduced whilst preserving the qualities of the type of wheel concerned. The invention applies more particularly to heavy goods vehicles equipped with wheels with multiple tyres. <IMAGE>
