The invention relates to the metallurgy of non-ferrous metals and alloys, in particular to fluxes for the treatment of cast aluminum-silicon alloys.
The purpose of the invention is to increase the mechanical properties of high-alloyed aluminum alloys with a silicon content of 10-13% and to expand the use of secondary raw materials in the smelting of alloys.
Предлагаемый флюс дл обработки литейных алюминиево-кремниебых спла- йов, содержащий хлористый натрий, лористьй калий и фторцирконат кали при следующем соотношении компонентов , мас.%: Фторцирконат кали 23-50The proposed flux for treating aluminum-silicon foundry alloys containing sodium chloride, potassium lory, and potassium fluoropolyconate in the following ratio, wt.%: Potassium fluorotconate 23-50
Кроме того , при выплавке этих сплавов за сче повьшени рафинируннцей способности флюса возможно использование в шихте до 60% вторичного сырь .Sodium chloride 25-40 -; Potassium chloride Else; The ratio of the content of sodium chloride and potassium chloride feo flux is 0.8-1. The proposed c-ratio of flux components improves the refining ability of the flux and the mechanical properties of the aluminum alloy produced by silicon-alloys. In addition, when smelting these alloys, it is possible to use the flux capacity up to 60% of secondary raw materials for refining the flux capacity.
When the content of sodium chloride in the flux is less than 25% or more than 40%, the surface properties of the flux decrease and the dispersion of the metal in the flux increases.
When the ratio of sodium chloride and potassium chloride in the flux is 1: 0.8-1, the required melting temperature of the flux is required. The addition of potassium fluorozirconate to the flux less than 23% does not provide the required refining ability of the flux. Increasing fluorozirconate content in the flux more than 50% leads to an increase melting point of the flux and does not improve its refining properties.
Дл обработки поршневых алюминиевых сплавов АК12М2МгН, АК12ММгН приготовлены составы флюсов, которые включают компоненты в предлагаемых пределах и за предлагаемыми пределами .For the treatment of piston aluminum alloys AK12M2MgN, AK12MMGN, flux compositions were prepared, which include components within the proposed limits and beyond the proposed limits.
1The compositions of the fluxes are given in table 1
The powder mixture of flux components was melted down, poured into molds, crushed. Fragmented flux was introduced to the bottom of the bucket in the amount

После выдержки в течение 7-10 мин с поверхности ковша снимали шлак и производили разливку.be 0.7-1% by weight of the metal being refined. The alloys were melted using 60% of secondary raw materials in the charge (40% of piston scrap, 20% of chips, and 40% of primary metals). After holding for 7-10 minutes, slag was removed from the surface of the ladle and casting was performed.
1; 30 NaCl;, 20 K-jZrFgj 10 SrF.To obtain comparative data, the melt was also treated with a flux of known composition, wt.%: 40 KC1; 30 NaCl ;, 20 K-jZrFgj 10 SrF.
The mechanical properties of the alloys: temporary resistance ((i) and relative elongation (SO was checked on standard specimens (up to 6 mm), cut from sheets of the workpiece f 40 mm.
Gas content was determined by vacuum melting. Macro sections were prepared to determine the porosity. The density of the samples was determined by hydrostatic weighing.
2 shows the mechanical properties of AK12M2MgN, AK12MMGN alloys treated with fluxes of different composition.
The results of the above tests showed that the mechanical properties And the density of the AK12M2MgN and AK12MMGN alloys treated with the flux of the proposed composition are higher than after
Flux treatment known composition.
In tab. 3 shows the results of industrial testing of the flux of the proposed composition in the production of the AK12M2MgN alloy in MT-B furnaces using up to 60% of the secondary coal in the charge. The results obtained confirm the higher refining ability of the proposed flux compared to the known flux for refining piston alloys containing 10–13% Si. During the overflow of metal from the IAT-6 furnace to the BUCKET with the flux of the proposed composition, a dry, easily removable slag is formed on the metal surface and due to this, the metal loss from the slag is reduced.
The use of the proposed flux for the treatment of piston aluminum alloys with a content of 10–13% Si will provide an alloy with improved mechanical properties while expanding the use of secondary raw materials in the mixture of these alloys. In addition, the proposed flux has a lower volatility.
