Abstract
(ЛThe invention relates to chemical methods of analysis, in particular to the potentiometric analysis of aqueous solutions of various mineralization containing sulphide and hydrosulfide ions, hydrogen sulfide, ferric oxide and ferrous. The aim of the invention is to improve the accuracy of measurements and ensure the possibility of determination in the presence of iron ions. Achievement of the target, the buffer solution containing, M: 1.0 mannitol, 5.8 sodium hydroxide, 0.45 trilon B and 0.25 ascorbic acid, is mixed with the analyzed sample containing Fe (III) ions in a ratio of 1: 4 at a consumption of mannitol not less than 100 M per 1 M Fe (III), f In the resulting solution, the EMF is measured using a sulfide selective electrode and the content of sulfide ion is calculated on the calibration curve 1 tab. The invention relates to analytical chemistry and can be used in the analysis of natural process water and waste water.
The aim of the invention is to improve the accuracy and enable determination in the presence of iron ions.
Example: Model solutions with a known sulfide ion content were prepared as follows.
In measuring flasks with a capacity of 50 cm, 10 cm of a buffer mixture containing, M: caustic soda 5j, 8j ascorbic acid 0.25, disodium salt, ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid 0.45 ,, mannitol 1 was placed, then 1 cm of standard O, t M by NaOH and 0.05 M by ascorbic acid sodium sulfide solution with a sulfide ion content of 0.432 to 216 mg / dm, which corresponded to the S2 content from up to 5400 μg / dm and adjusted by the mark with a solution of iron zoammonium alum containing Fe (III) ions from up to 130 mg / dm
ЭДС растворов измер ли ионометром ЭВ-74 с помощью сульфидсеребр ного промышленного электрода ЭСС-01 отно-- сительно хлорсеребр ного электрода сравнени ЭВЛ-ШЗэ заполненного 5 М нитратом натри ,The emf of the solutions was measured with an EV-74 ionometer using an ESS-01 sulphide-silver industrial electrode relative to a silver-chloride reference electrode EVL-ShZe filled with 5 M sodium nitrate,
The results of determining the sulfide ion in the model solutions are given in the table.
As can be seen from the table, the systematic error of determination is in the range of 1853 - (- 55b) and in general does not exceed 10 rel.
The range of mannitol concentration in the analyzed solution is due to the salting out of the disodium salt of ethylene diaminetetraacetic acid at a concentration of more than 0.2 mol / l and insufficient binding of iron ions
