Description

The present invention relates to methods for simulating oxygen content in the atmosphere at various flight altitudes for use, for example, in heating furnaces when testing products operating under high temperatures in a rarefied atmosphere.

Предлагаемый способ отличаетс  от известных тем, что кислород смешивают с нейтральным газом, например аргоном, так, чтобы парциальное давление кислорода соответствовало количеству кислорода в единице объема на заданной высоте, и полученную газовую смесь по , дают в камеру, в которой испытываютс  издели .The proposed method differs from the known ones in that oxygen is mixed with a neutral gas, such as argon, so that the oxygen partial pressure corresponds to the amount of oxygen per unit volume at a given height, and the resulting gas mixture is fed into the chamber in which the products are tested.

The use of such a method allows to obtain the oxygen content correspondingly located in the atmosphere at a given flight altitude.

The drawing shows the scheme of the stand for the implementation of the proposed method.

The stand is made on the basis of an industrial chamber electric furnace / H series with a special platform 2, on which test objects 3 are placed. The platform is made movable, which allows, if necessary, to provide thermal shock to the tested structures, putting them into a preheated electric furnace.

Gate 4 platform hermetically closes the entrance to the electric furnace during the experiment. On the outer side of the gate, a special actuator 5 is placed with a system that allows the creation of external loads on the tested structures.

Argon and oxygen are taken from gas cylinders 6. For a given height, certain amount of argon and oxygen is measured using flow meters - rotameters 7, which flow from mixer 8 and from there to the working area of the electric furnace. The gas mixture is heated from the working area to the atmosphere through the regulator 10.
