The aim of the invention is to intensify the melting process, reduce carbon burnout,
According to the proposed method of steel melting, including the filling of golakoobrazuyuschimi materials, including limestone, scrap, filling or pouring of cast iron, melting, finishing and deoxidation, after the limestone is added to the surface, fusible materials containing iron oxides, for example, scale, are deposited on the surface evenly. and then fuse them.
The operation of fusing lime with low-melting materials containing iron oxides:; (e.g., dross), allows to obtain calcium ferrites of different composition with a melting temperature of 1200-1400 C during the filling prior to smelting and filling (casting) of cast iron with calcium melting - Noah phase. As a result of this interaction) (the liquid ferritic phase with the limestone of the surface of the limestone pieces is covered with a layer of rather refractory solutions of calcium ferrites in calcium oxide. As a result of this refractory bone, some of the iron oxides are almost completely melted scrap and extrusion. The interaction of these iron oxides, dissolved in lime, with the carbon of the liquid metal leads to the formation of carbon monoxide, which, when released, mixes the liquid metal and m thus improves the conditions of heat transfer from the flame to the metal melt, intensive bubbling of the liquid metal takes place from the moment when the level of
е. к уменьшению угара углерода в этот период, и тем самым к уменьшению расхода чугун на плавку.the carbonaceous metal rises above the limestone until the end of smelting. This mixing of the bath leads to an intensification of melting, a reduction in its duration and a decrease in the amount of carbon oxidized during the melting period, i.e. to a decrease in carbon loss during this period, and thus to a reduction in the consumption of cast iron for smelting.
Primer p. Melting was carried out in the main open-hearth furnace, charging 270 tons scrap process. Melting was carried out according to the known and proposed methods. According to the proposed method, after the limestone is added, a scale (1500 kg) was poured over the surface of the limestone with a thin layer (1500 mm) and the lime was fused with lime for 15 minutes; the amount of scale was 12.5–15.0% by weight of limestone.
The results of the bottoms and the conditions of conduction are shown in the table.
The application of the method allows to accelerate melting, to reduce carbon carbon during the melting period by an average of 31.1, which leads to a decrease in the consumption of pig iron for smelting (replacing it with the same amount of steel scrap).
