The invention relates to a composition for impregnating abrasive wheels used in grinding difficult-to-machine materials with a tendency to interact with a circle, such as stainless steels.
The aim of the invention is to increase the durability of the wheel.
I Состав дл пропитки абразивных кругов содержит медь стеариновокис- лую, гипосульфит и машинное масло при следующем соотношении компонентов, мас.%:I The composition for impregnating abrasive wheels contains copper stearic acid, hyposulfite and machine oil in the following ratio, wt.%:
15-22Stearic acid copper 55-70 Hyposulfite15-22
Machine oil 15-23 Stearic acid copper has good lubricating and cooling properties, but has a number of disadvantages, such as slag formation, the formation of copper oxide, which has a coarse structure and weak passivation, with the result that the lubricant works worse on medium and strong modes,
The main function of hyposulfite is the reduction of copper oxide and the formation of nubial films of sulphides, sulfur and copper, which have low friction coefficients and an increased ability to passivate counterbodies.
Adding Machine Macking: Gives the composition a desired consistency.
To prepare the composition, a sample of finely divided hyposulfite crystalline hydrate is added to the melt of copper stearic acid at 150 ° C. The mixture is held at a predetermined temperature for 1 hour. At the same time, crystalline water is released, easy pricing and viscosity increase. After a two-hour suspension, the mixture is diluted with engine oil,

Увеличение содержани стеариновокислой меди более 70% ведет к снижению эффективности за счет увеличени в зкости, налипанию на круг, отжиму последнего (пример 1).An increase in the content of copper stearic acid more than 70% leads to a decrease in efficiency due to an increase in viscosity, sticking to the circle, and pressing the latter (Example 1).
Снижение содержани стеариновокислой меди менее 55% ведет к снижению эффективности, повьш1ению температуры шлифовани и износа (пример 5).A decrease in copper stearic acid content of less than 55% leads to a decrease in efficiency, an increase in grinding temperature and wear (example 5).
An increase in the hyposulphite concentration of more than 22–23% leads to an increase in the cutting power due to an increase in the concentration of mineral compounds formed during the tribodecturation process during grinding.
Уменьшение концентрации гипосульфита ведет к ослаблению его основной функции - восстановлению окиси меди и уменьшению образовани сульфидов меди (пример 5),A decrease in the concentration of hyposulfite leads to a weakening of its main function — the reduction of copper oxide and a decrease in the formation of copper sulfides (Example 5),
An increase in the concentration of engine oil by more than 22-23% impairs grinding performance due to a decrease in the content of the main components of the im- pregner (example 5). Engine oil content below 15% does not provide the desired consistency of the impregnator.
Comparative testing of the compositions was carried out on a surface grinding machine using silicon carbide wheels at a speed of 30 m / s and a table speed of 1.7 m / s, with mortise grinding, at a feed of 0.2 mm for a double stroke, on stainless steel samples.
The test results are shown in the table,
The proposed composition has a high heat capacity, anti-friction and damping properties.
При использовании состава , приготовленного описанным способом , образуютс нубиальные пленки с низким коэффициентом трени и высокой способностью к пассивации юве- нильных поверхностей контртел, что преп тствует схватьшанию и уменьшает радиал1гный износ абразивного инструмента .The proposed mechanism of action of the impregnating composition is as follows: the complex compound of copper stearic acid with hyposulphite obtained during the preparation of the composition, which gives the most even distribution in the volume of molecules, contributes to the most complete course of the reactions during grinding with the formation of CuS, Cu and sulfur. When using the composition prepared by the method described, nubial films with a low coefficient of friction and a high ability to passivate the jewel surfaces of the counterbody are formed, which prevents grasping and reduces radial wear of the abrasive tool.
The working surface of the abrasive wheel is impregnated using a well-known contact method, according to which the impregnator is applied to the cutting surface of the grinding wheel, rotating at working speed.
