The invention relates to engineering psychology and can be used in ergonomic systems where intensive delivery of information to the operator through the visual channel is provided.
The purpose of the invention is to expand the field of view of the operator to the limit when relieving static eye strain due to dynamic eye divergence, taking into account the individual physiological features of the operator’s visual system.
Fig, 1 shows a diagram of the device used in the implementation of the method; in fig. 2 illustrates an exemplary test object for determining the range of divergence of the operator’s eyes.
7.The device contains a distributor of 1 fields of view, metal plates 2 and 3 with six-digit lines of alphanumeric information printed on them in the form of columns, an electric motor 4 with a gearbox, four spiral springs 5, elliptical cams 6, a slide 7.
The text plates can be moved horizontally in the slide 7, made in the form of parallelepipeds with grooves for the plates. The sled 7 is rigidly connected to the device.
By means of the spring 5, the text plates are pressed against the elliptical cams 6. The distance between the plates can vary from a minimum equal to mm (for the maximum radius of the elliptical cam) to the maximum (with the minimum radius of the elliptical cam). To provide different maximum distances between the plates, there are thirteen to eighteen pairs of cams 6 that have the same maximum radius. Each subsequent cam pair has a minimum radius that differs from the previous one by 2.5 mm.

2.an operator using a test object, an example of KOTopoi o is shown in FIG. 2
Каждой строке присвоена оценка, начина с единицы дл первой строки текста и до тринадцати (при тринадцати строках ) - восемнадцати ( посем адца- ти строках),In front of the sitting test operator, who has no visual impairment, at a distance of 30-40 cm), there is a test object, each column of which contains 13-18 six-character lines representing combinations of words and numbers. The distance from the right edge of the left column and the left edge of the right column to the middle of the table varies in steps of 2.5 mm when the gaze moves down the table from top to bottom. Each line is assigned a score, starting from one for the first line of the text and up to thirteen (with thirteen lines) - eighteen (after ad rows),
The subject takes the field separator of view, the presentations are a strip of thick cardboard 30 cm long and 8 cm wide and puts it on the narrow side to the middle of the table, and the other side to the nose bridge so that the right and left eye fields are separated. there was one column in each field of view.
При этом фиксируетс максимальный номер строки текста теста, которую испытуемый видел без двоени изобра- жени .Next, the subject fixes a glance on the pair line until the appearance of its clear 1-image. Moving further, looking from top to bottom of the table, the subject fixes for two or three seconds the appearance of a clear image of the line. The test continues until the first image of the text appears. At the same time, the maximum line number of the text of the test is recorded, which the subject saw without duplicating the image.
As the upper limit of the individual divergence range of the eyes of the test operator, the maximum divergence of the eyes is taken, at which the test text is observed sharply, without diplopia. The magnitude of the divergence is determined by the distance between lines of the same level in the text of the test.
Затем осуществл ют динамическую дивергенцию глаз оператора путем предъ влени тест-объектов, рассто ние между которыми измен етс во времени по возвратно-поступательному (периодическому) закону в диапазоне от 4 мм до максимального значени , полученного в результате тестировани .Then the dynamic divergence of the operator's eyes is carried out by presenting test objects, the distance between which changes in time in a reciprocating (periodic) law in the range from 4 mm to the maximum value obtained as a result of testing.
1.The dynamic divergence of the eyes is carried out, for example, on a device made according to fig. 1.
If dynamic divergence is damaged, a pair of elliptical cams 6 with a radius corresponding to the estimate obtained as a result of determining the maximum value of divergence are established.
The subject looks at the text applied to the plates 2 and 3 until the image of one column is obtained. The motor 4 is then turned on, synchronously rotating the cams 6 at a speed of one revolution per 5 seconds. In this case, the distance between the lines of text varies from the minimum to the maximum reciprocating according to a periodic law (for example, sinusoidal for elliptical cams) in a direction perpendicular to the plane of the separator of the visual fields within the individual divergence range.
The process of dynamic divergence lasts for 30-60 s, after which the operator is prepared for readings.
In the process of dynamic divergence of the operator's eyes, limiting values of the field of view values are provided when the static muscles of the eyes are removed.
