This invention relates to medicine and can be used to treat respiratory failure.
The purpose of the invention is to preserve nasal breathing when the gas supply is stopped.
2.FIG. 1 shows a device for supplying gas to the nasal cavity, general view; in fig. 2 - cannula in working condition, longitudinal section; in fig. 3 - cannula for gas supply cut-off, longitudinal section; in fig. 4 is a section A-A in FIG. 2
7.A device for supplying gas to the nasal cavity contains cannulas 1 and 2 connected by a flexible wire connector 3, and gas supplying tubes 4 and 5 connected by a movable coupling 6. Each cannula 1 and 2 contains a hollow cylindrical body 7 perpendicular to the gas supply tubes 4 and 5 and integral with them. The housing 7 has an opening 8, around the perimeter of which an elastic shell 9 9 is fixed, having a pear-shaped shape in the straightened working state. The shell 9 has through-slots 10 in the middle part. Inside the body 7 of each cannula 1 and 2, a compression spring 11 is coaxially arranged, made, for example, of silicone rubber, one end of which is connected to the middle part of the shell 9 and the other end through the hole 12 in the bottom 13 of the housing 7 is brought out, while the diameter of the hole 12 is less than the diameter of the spring 11, which ensures its reliable hermetic fixation. The length of the section of the spring 11 placed in the cavity of the housing 7, is chosen so that the shell 9 was located inside the housing 7.
The device works as follows.
By bending connector 3, the distance between cannulas 1 and 2 necessary for the patient is established, with their openings 8 facing the external openings of the nasal passages. The cannulas 1 and 2 and the gas supply tubes 4 and 5 near the cannulas 1 and 2 are fixed on the patient's face with an adhesive film, and then moving the sleeve 6, they fix the tubes 4 and 5 on the patient's head. A gas supply is supplied to the pipes 4 and 5. The shell 9 melts, acquiring the desired pear-shaped

После завершени лечени устройство снимают с головы пациента обычными приемами.the form, and due to elasticity, another form, as close as possible to the individual anatomical features of the surface of the external openings of the nasal passages, excluding at the moment of inhalation the leakage of the feed into the nasal passages of the gas. At the moment of gas supply, a part of the spring 11, located in the cavity of the housing 7, is in the stretched state (Fig. 2). The gas in each nasal passage enters through the holes formed when the edges of the through slots 10 are moved apart by the supplied gas. Exhalation during gas supply to both nasal passages is performed through the mouth or through the nose due to the deformation of the shell 9 and the gap formed between the shell 9 and the nose. When gas is supplied to one nasal passage, exhalation is performed through the second nasal passage and the mouth. If necessary. periodically or permanently removing the contents of the nasal passages in order to maintain their nasal passability. Suction catheters are inserted through the outer passages through which the contents of the nasal passages are aspirated. At the same time, breathing gas leakage at the moment of inhalation is eliminated by creating the necessary tightness when the sheath 9 fits against the wall of the nasal inlet and the suction catheter. When the gas supply is temporarily stopped, the cannulas are not removed, since during the compression of the spring 11, the shell 9 is screwed into the cavity of the housing 7 (Fig. 3) and breathing gaps are formed between the cannulas 1 and 2 and the nose. When the elastic device 11 is reduced during operation, the spring 11 is pulled over the outer end through the hole 12 in the bottom 13 of the housing, adjusting the length of the section of the spring 11 placed in the cavity of the housing 7, while ensuring that the shell 9 is screwed into the cavity of the housing 7. the device is removed from the patient's head in the usual manner.
