Винтова  поверхность выполнена таким образом, что в любом поперечном сечении плоскостью, перпендикул рной оси копира, последний представ- , 1 ет собой сегмент. С винтовой поверхностью взаимодействуют тела 3 качени , оси которых расположены в плоскости, перпендикул рной оси копира 2.
