Description

Devices for wrapping packs of sheet products with metal tapes are known, including holders for tape reels, roller straightening clips, a mechanism for pressing the products and a device for transversely laying the tape on the stack of products.

However, the known devices for wrapping bundles of sheet products with metal tapes do not provide for the simultaneous cutting and fastening of the binding tapes, as well as the transverse laying of the tapes on the stack of products.

The essence of the described invention is that, in order to carry out simultaneous cutting and fastening of the straps, it uses spring-loaded welding electrodes attached together with cutting blades in moving cross-beams. A device made in the form of reciprocating hollow shtangs is included for transverse stacking of ribbons into a stack of products.
