The invention relates to the production of lining materials and can be used in construction for lining concrete panels.
The aim of the invention is to increase the strength of adhesion to concrete.
Уменьшение содержани щелочей способствует прочному сцеплению стекл нных плит с бетоном .The high adhesion strength of glass to concrete is due to the fact that the destruction of glass in a humid alkaline atmosphere begins with the absorption of water molecules by the glass surface due to excessive surface forces. This water is structurally bound to glass and, in the form of hydroxyl groups, it covers the surface, forming a film whose thickness depends on the alkali content of the glass. The sodium and potassium alkali hydroxides formed on the glass surface react with silica. The chemistry of this reaction is proposed as follows: the cement stone surrounding the silica grains is like a semi-permeable membrane through which alkali hydrates diffuse to the reaction zone, and for the reaction products this furniture is impermeable. The accumulation of reaction products on silica grains creates significant pressure, which leads to delamination of glass from concrete. The pressure depends on the alkali content of the glass. The reduction in alkali content contributes to the firm adhesion of glass slabs to concrete.
In addition, the increased content of magnesium oxide contributes to the enhancement of the degree of damping due to the fact that magnesium ions significantly enhance the segregation phenomena due to the high cation field strength.
