Изобретение относитс к горному делу и используетс дл защиты рабочего пространства механизированной крепи от ббрушающнх горных пород и падак цего угл . Цель - повьшение надежности работы ограждающих устройств секций механизированной крепи. Ограждающее устройство секций механизированной крепи включает св занный с основанием 1 нижний щит 2 и размещен- ньй в нем выдвижной щит 3. В верхней части щит 3 имеет рычаг 4 и фартук 12 трапецеидальной формы. Рычаг 4 соединен концом 5 посредством щар- нира 6 с концом 7 нижнего щита 2, Другим концом 8 рычаг 4 св зан с пе- рекрытиЕм 9 посредством гибкого элемента . 10, например, в виде цепи.
