Description
This invention relates to methods for producing moisture resistant corrugated paperboard and can be used in the pulp and paper industry.
The purpose of the invention is to improve the quality of cardboard and process performance.
The drawing shows a diagram of the device that implements the proposed method.
The sheets of paper or paperboard for the corrugated layer 1, the upper 2 and the lower 3 layers are unwound, respectively, on rolls 4-6, heated on preheaters 7-9 and fed to impregnating machines 10-12, in which the lower layers of the sheets 1 and 2 and the upper layer the webs 3 at 170-190 ° C are impregnated with a thermoplastic material (a composition based on fine-crystalline wax). It is possible to apply a thermoplastic coating on the upper side of the web 1 or on both sides of the web 1-3. Further, the web 1 with a thermoplastic coating applied on its upper or lower side is fed to a corrugating press 13, and simultaneously a web 3 is supplied to it for the lower layer. The canvas 2 for the upper layer is pre-moistened, for example, by using the showers 14, also fed into the exit zone of the corrugated web 1 from the corrugating press 13. In this zone, webs 1-3 are joined between the smooth shaft 15 of the corrugator 13 and the clamping button placed above it shaft 16. The coating deposited on the surface of each of the webs 1-3, which is in the softening state, interconnects them with the formation of a multi-layered corrugated cardboard web 17. In this case, if during the transportation of the weights 1-3 the thermoplastic The actual coating applied to them in a hot state, has time to cool down and loses the softening in the area between the impregnating machines 10-12 and the joint zone of webs 1-3, they can be provided with additional heating by known means to the softening temperature of the thermoplastic coating. The multilayered web 17 formed as a result of joining the webs 1-3 is cooled, during which the thermoplastic coating solidifies and the final formation of the corrugated cardboard structure takes place. The blade 17 is cooled by transporting it over the cooling plates 18, and the blade 17 is pressed to the plates 18 necessary for fixing its structure before the coating sets, carried by the air flow under pressure supplied from the blower 19. In addition to the clamp, the air flow blows through the pre-moistened air the web 17, in which moisture evaporates, intensifying cooling of the web 17. Moistening may be provided; and the web 3 for the lower layer followed by blowing it in the cooling section multilayer
The final curing of the coating occurs when it cools to 50-60 ° C. The formed multi-layer sheet of corrugated cardboard 17 is then fed for further processing.
The proposed method is due to
Since the upper and lower flat webs are connected to the corrugated intermediate web simultaneously in one place (at the exit from the corrugation zone), it eliminates the delamination of the multilayered web 5, increasing its quality. Due to the more intensive cooling of the multilayer sheet, its quality also increases, and the device performance can be significantly increased and the length of the cooling part of the corrugated unit can be reduced.
