Предлагаемый способ отличаетс  от известных тем, что при флотационном обогащении сульфидных руд в пульпу ввод т гексаметафосфат натрИ. Гексаметафосфат натри  предупреждает налипание щламов на капли углеводородного масла и таким образом повыщает степень извлечени  металлов (меди и молибдена) из сульфидных руд. При грубом помоле (30% минус 0,074 мм) введение гексаметафосфата натри  приводит к заметному увеличению выхода концентрата и извлечени  из него металла , но одновременно ухудщает качества концентрата. Сопоставление результатов , полученных при флотационном обогащении материала различной крупности свидетельствует о том, что введение гексаметафосфата способствует флотации сростков по.юзных минералов с породой.Sodium hexametaphosphate prevents the buildup of sludge on hydrocarbon oil droplets and thus increases the recovery of metals (copper and molybdenum) from sulphide ores.
