I12 The invention relates to mechanical engineering, where it can be used in brake systems of automobiles, tractors and tons of sack. The aim of the invention is to improve braking performance by providing self-reinforcement in the braking process and reducing the force required for. brake control. Figure 1 shows a diagram of multi-unit brakes; figure 2 - section aa in figure 1. The multi-drum brake contains a brake drum 1 having an axis of rotation; symmetric concentric mounted brake pads 2 with friction linings 3 and stiffening ribs .k; an expansion disc 5, mounted under the brake pads 2 on a fixed support 6, made in the form of a supporting disc. The expanding disk 5 is fixed on the last stop ring 7 with the possibility of circumferential movement. The housing 8 is rigidly connected with the caliper 6. The rotary element in the form of a fist 9 is rigidly connected to the axis 10 installed in the caliper 6 with the possibility of circumferential movement and with the ability to interact with the disk 5. The brake pads 2 tighten the springs 11, the support rollers 12 are located symmetrically at the ends in the ribs 4 stiffness of the brake pads 2, the control rollers 13. are mounted on the middle of the brake pads 2. On the circumference of the fixed support 6 under the support rollers 12 of the brake shoes 2, the working surfaces 14 are inclined in different directions s in each other at an angle in two parts, and evenly spaced two along the perimeter of the external diameter of the caliper 6. The circumference of the latter has grooves 15 in the middle between the said surfaces and can be placed and rotated in their working sites working surfaces 17 of an expanding disc 5 in contact with the control rollers 13 of the pads 2. This is accomplished so that both the support and control rollers are installed in the same plane under the concentric pads installed. In the expansion disk 5 in the middle between the working surfaces I7, the groove with the working surface 18 is complete. It houses the knuckle 9, which contacts with the working surface 18. The axial movement of the rollers 12 and, consequently, the pads 2 on the left is limited by the expanding disk 5 (FIG. 2), and on the right — a ring 19, rigidly connected with screws 20 with a support 6. The length of the working surfaces 14 (made on any profile, for example, in the form of a flat, convex and concave surface) is indicated by the segment a-b, and the length working surfaces 17 (made also for any my profile) - segment m -n. In this case, the distance Oq is less than any distance from the center O of rotation to the point belonging to the segment a-b, and the distance From is less than any distance from the center of rotation to the point belonging to the segment im -n. Multi-block brake works as follows. In a static position, when the brake drum 1 does not rotate and the force turning the axis 10 and the steering knuckle 9 is not applied, the tension springs 11 hold the pads 2 in such a position that between them and the brake drum the specified working clearance is maintained. around the entire perime. the drum 1 has the same size, since the ends of the brake pads 2 through the support rollers 12 rest on a symmetrical and uniformly circumferential fixed support 6 working surfaces 14, and is at least equal to the depth glubleny under the rollers. The knuckle 9 and the expansion disc 5 are in the extreme right positions, the control rollers 13 touch the working surfaces 17 of the compression disc at the beginning of the working section of the m-forming and the support rollers 12 are located in the depressions formed by the working surfaces 14 of the caliper 6, those. the axis of rotation of the rollers in this case are on the lines passing through the points O and a. The brake is in the disinhibited state. in the process of braking, a force is applied to the axis 10, which turns the axis 10 counterclockwise. The fist 9 rigidly connected with the axis 10 rotates around the latter also counterclockwise (to the left), acts on the working surface 18 of the expanding disk 5 by rotating the mouth of the latter to the left around the center O of rotation. Since the working surfaces 17 of the expandable disk 5 are arranged symmetrically around the circumference for interaction with the control rollers 13 installed on the middle of the pad 2, and the distance On is greater than the distance From, the latter moves the control discs to the left. the rollers 13 and the brake pads 2 associated with it in radial directions to the inner surface of the drum 1. In this way, the pads 2 are moved before they touch their lining with the drum 1. The lining is pressed against the drum at the same time and The blades remain evenly distributed along the length of the friction lining, since the ends of the pads 2 are supported through rollers 12 on symmetrically and evenly spaced around the circumference of the fixed support 6 working surfaces 14. Moreover, if applied from the expansion disk 5 through the control rollers 13 more control to the brake pads 2, the latter, with a greater force, will turn towards the brake drum I. The support rollers 12 also tend to roll more into Raveau or vlevona surface 14 b .storonu points. So how are If OB is longer than Oa, then in this case rollers, rolling over nfc surfaces 14, press brake pads 2 to brake drum 1 more and more without distortions, in 9344, as a result, the effect of self-reinforcement of the brake develops and a greater braking moment develops, increasing efficiency brakes with a relatively small control action. The amount of self-reinforcement of the brake depends on the assumed inclination of the working surfaces 14 of the caliper 6. When unlocking, the turning force is not applied to the axis 10, therefore all parts of the drum brake return to their original position under the action of the tension springs 11. The brake is highly effective and requires little control. effects on the controls when braking, since it reduces the radial forces acting on the expanding disk, eliminates the harmful forces of friction, realizes the effect of self-reinforcement The braking performance is increased. In addition, the brake is easy to maintain, since when replacing brake parts such as brake pads or when repairing them, it is not necessary to remove the brake drum 1 with the vehicle's wheels mounted on it. In this case, it suffices to loosen the screws 20, loosen the ring 19 and dismantle the installation of brake pads 2 freely. In some cases (depending on the brake drum layout), you can remove the retaining ring 7 and the expanding disk 5 and disassemble - mount the pads. Moreover, all these works do not require the use of jacks and other devices.
