Description

Methods are known for manufacturing an after-accelerated aquadagular spiral layer for cathode-ray tubes using an apparatus containing an aquadagous slurry tank and a seamless metal tube connected to this reservoir, the end of which in contact with the inner surface of the flask of the tube is aligned at a desired angle. The disadvantage of such methods is the need to manufacture a tube specially fitted to the surface of the flask through which the suspension is applied onto the glass. It is difficult to obtain a spiral strip that is uniform in width and density, since in the process of applying the suspension it is not possible to ensure a constant gap between the end of the tube and the glass surface due to erasing the cut off tube and the presence of bulges and depressions on the walls of the flask.

In the described method, these disadvantages are eliminated by the fact that the application of the suspension is carried out using a writing wheel. A schematic representation of the device, an explanation of the described method, is shown in the drawing in two projections.

Способ предназначен дл  нанесени  покрытий на трубки, имеющие цилиндрическ ю колбу, так как при конических колбах -приходитс  наклон ть пишущее устройство, вследствие чего суспензи  будет «сливатьс  с колесика и необходима  равномерность покрыти  не получитс .The writing wheel / rotates freely in the bearings and the lower edge is immersed in the tray 2 filled with suspension 3. When applying the helix, the wheel is pressed against the inner surface of the bulb 4 by means of a spring, not shown in the drawing, connected to the bath. The flask of the cathode-ray tube 4 is rotated around its axis, which causes the wheel to rotate, by means of which a suspension is applied to the wall of the flask. Simultaneously with the rotation of the bulb, the wheel with the bath moves along the axis of the bulb. The suspension in the bath is continuously mixed due to the rotation of the wheel, which ensures the same accuracy of the coating along the length of the helix. The method is intended for coating tubes having a cylindrical flask, since with conical flasks a writing device must tilt, as a result of which the suspension will "drain off the wheel and the coating uniformity will not be obtained.
