The invention relates to tobacco industry and can be used in the preliminary preparation of tobacco for loading and unloading cassettes used in drying tobacco leaves in a dense mass.

The aim of the invention is to enhance the functionality by providing cassette unloading. FIG. 1 shows a device for loading tobacco leaves into cassettes.

The device for loading tobacco leaves with cassettes contains a base 1 with vertical posts 2, on which platform 3 is installed with the possibility of reciprocating movement in a vertical plane, enclosing the platform 3 side walls 4 fixedly mounted on vertical stands 2 and fixed on the base 1 5 to install the cassette 6.

Platform 3 has a rectangular opening 7 corresponding to the size of the cassettes 6, a lever with articulated arms 8 and 9 is attached to the uprights 2, and latches are mounted on the platform 3. 10. Platform 3 is made in the form of a frame having an L-shaped form and is equipped with upper and lower rollers 12 and 13 placed in guide 11 of the uprights 2. The arms of the 14 racks 2 are hinged on the arms, each arm 8 being supported on the platform 3 fixed on the frame 3 clamps 10, and the shoulders 9 are reinforced with the bar 15 that covers the opening 7, and the side walls are fixed to the racks 2 by means of the stubs 16 7, and the rear wall 17 is rigidly fixed on the uprights 2.

At the upper end of the L-shaped frame of the platform 3, the frame 19 is hingedly attached to the frame 19, pressing the leaves against the platform 3. The platform 3 is transferred from the lower position to the upper one by means of handles 22 and is held in this position by latches 23 on which handles 22 rest.

The cassette 6 on the support 5 is installed in the guides 24 and fixed in them by sliding rods 25, passed through the holes of the mounting plates (not shown) and the holes of the shelves 26 of the side walls to the cassettes 6. The movement of the rods 25 is limited by the stops 27.

The device works as follows.

Tobacco leaves are evenly placed on platform 3. Upon reaching the mass level of the upper edges of the tobacco, the enclosing walls 17 and 4, the frame 19 is moved to the horizontal position. The clamps 23 of the plate, form 3, are pushed back. Under the weight of the tobacco mass, the platform 3 abruptly moves down. When the platform 3 is moving, the stops to be retracted from the shoulders of 9 levers, the plan 5 and 15 are folded back, opening the opening 7. At the same time, the leaves of the upper layer lying above the opening, pressed against the platform with the total mass of tobacco, are reliably kept from falling out.

Upon further movement of the platform, the needles of the cassette 6 penetrate the leaves through the opening 7. At the end of the movement of the platform 3, when the cassette leaves the opening 7, the tobacco mass is compacted with the frame 19. The loaded cassette is closed with a lid (not shown) 4, having first folded the frame 19, and having pulled out the rod 25, removed from the support 5. The platform with the handle 22 reset to the initial position. To unload the cassettes 6, the platform 3 with the folded frame 19 is lowered onto the base 1, and the cassette 6c is installed and fixed on the protruding tobacco 15 above the platform 15. Then the platform 3 with tobacco is moved upwards to interact with the latches 23. After packing tobacco platform 3 is transferred to its original, lower position, and the discharge cassette is removed.

The invention allows to extend the functionality by providing unloading of cassettes without using additional equipment.
