Description

A known machine for washing glass cans, made in the form of rotating on vertical axes above the tubs of drums with can slots, equipped with an inflow and out cans conveyors and pumps for feeding pressurized nozzles from tanks through nozzles.

The described glass washing machine is simpler than the known one.

Each drum of the maschina is composed of two disks, the planes of which, on the periphery in articulation with vertical oval-shaped cans, form partitions along the circumference of the can slot. On each disk around the circumference of the nest locations, arc slots are made. Nozzles (shtutsers) through which washing liquids are supplied are fixed on pipelines made in the form of rings and located above and below the drums along the same circular line with arc gaps. The drums are interconnected by a horizontal estrus to transfer the cans from the sockets of one drum to the sockets of the other.

The discs and ring-shaped pipelines 10 and // are closed from the sides by covers 13, and from above - by removable covers 14.

The drive frame is installed in the upper part of the machine bed, on which the onors 15 are mounted for vertical shafts 4 and the supports 16 for the horizontal shaft 17. The shafts 4 are kinematically connected to the shaft 17 by two pairs of conical gears 18. The shafts 4, 17 and the drum disks receive rotation from the electric motor 19.

On both end sides of the machine are centrifugal pumps 20 and 21, the first of which is connected through an intake pipe with an alkaline solution tank, and the second with a pool of clean hot water. The discharge pipe 22 of the pump 20 is connected to the ring-shaped pipelines of one drum, and the discharge pipe 23 of the pump 21 is connected to the ring-shaped pipelines of the other drum.

But the loading chute 24 processed glass jars are fed bottom up by a belt conveyor into the right (according to the drawing) drum, during rotation of which they are washed inside and filled with an alkali solution coming from the nozzles of the disks. At the end of one turn of this drum, another can, pushed behind the next can after it, through the horizontal chute 25 connecting the drums enters the left drum, in which it is processed with clean hot water. At the outlet chute 26, it is finally washed with a mixture of water and steam from the nozzles 27, into which water and steam are supplied through the ports 28 and 29.
