Description

Installations for depositing film-forming substances on a fabric base are known, consisting of consecutive devices for putting on a roll of material and unwinding it to unwind, a spreading roller, an endless transnorter with a squeegee mounted above its upper branch, a chamber for drying the material and a device for winding the treated material in roll. In these plants, film-forming substances cannot be applied to materials that have a large stretch, such as knitwear, since the resulting resistance between the doctor blade and the material causes significant stretching of the latter.

In the proposed installation, this disadvantage is eliminated by using a vacuum table located under the doctor's blade, which interacts with the upper branch of the endless conveyor, the tape of which is made of mesh.

The drawing shows a setup diagram for applying film-forming substances to a fabric base. In the installation, there are successively arranged: a device for putting on a roll 1 of material 2, a device 3 for forcing unwinding of a roll /, a spreading roller 4, an endless conveyor 5, the tape of which is made mesh. Above the upper branch of the conveyor 5 is mounted rakl 6 for applying film-like substances onto the material, under which there is a vacuum table 7 interacting with the upper branch of the endless conveyor 5. Behind the vacuum table 7 there is a chamber 8 for drying the material 2 and leaving processed material into a roll 9.

The installation works as follows. A roll / material 2 having a large stretch, for example knitwear, is set to

warnings to force the unwinding device 3. The unwinding material 2 is then directed through the spreading roller 4 to the upper branch of the moving, endless conveyor 5 with a mesh belt, under which the vacuum table 7 is located, where it comes into contact with the blade 6, which causes film-forming substance. At the same time, the material 2, the passage above the vacuum table 7, is tightly pressed due to vacuum to the net belt of the moving conveyor 5, which allows to overcome the resistance between the blade 6 and the material 2 and apply the film-forming substance to the material 2 without stretching the latter. After applying the film-forming substance, the material 2 passes through the chamber 8 for drying ejo, at the exit of which the treated material 2 is sent to the device for winding it into a roll 9.
