Description

The invention relates to electrophotography and printing and can be used in copying and printing machines for feeding sheets.

The aim of the invention is to increase the reliability of separation of sheets from the foot.

The device for feeding sheet material from the stack contains a foot tray 2 mounted on the base, a vertical support 3 for the tray, a front stop 4, feed rollers 5 and adjustable weight 6 mounted on guide 7, as well as additional weight 8 installed on the guide 7 with the possibility of free movement and spring-loaded in the direction of the adjustable load 6.

The vertical support 3 consists of two plates 9 and 10. The plate 9 has threaded holes on opposite sides and is rigidly fixed on the base 1. The plate 10 has plates 9 corresponding to the threaded holes of the plate 9, grooves 11 and is hinged to tray 2 along its central line, perpendicular to the material feed direction. Plates 9 and 10 are interconnected by

a hinge 12, the axis of which is perpendicular to the center line of the tray and located midway between the holes, and screws 13 placed in the holes and slots of the plates 9 and 10.

The device works as follows.

A stack of 14 sheets of paper is laid on the tray 2, which is then fed under the feed rollers 5 until it stops 4 Depending on the type of paper used, the required pressure of the feed rollers 5 is installed on the stack 14, ensuring reliable separation of the sheets from the stack and their supply to the path for further movement . This is achieved by moving the load 6, which is fixed on the guide 7 by means of a screw. The screws 13 establish the parallelism of the tray with respect to the feed rollers 5. Rotate the rollers 5 to separate the top sheets from the foot and feed them. As the sheets decrease in the stop, its tilt angle changes and the self-adjusting weight 8 moves along the guide 7 downward, compressing the spring 15. Gradual self-shifting of the load 8 maintains a constant pressure of the rollers 5 on the foot 14 as it is removed and the tray 2 tilts. this ensures that the pressure of the feed rollers 5 is constant on the foot 14 at the beginning and at the end of the feeding of sheets from the foot.
