Abstract

CATHODE RAY TUBE HAVING IMPROVED SHADOW MASK A shadow mask type of cathode ray tube, wherein the mask has a plurality of slit-shaped apertures therethrough aligned in columns, is improved by parallel corrugation of the mask. The peak-to-peak wavelength dimension of the corrugations is at least twice as great as the spacing between adjacent aperture columns.

Изобретение относитс  к электрон ной технике, в частности к технике j;Be. катодно-лучевых трубок, снабженных теневыми масками. Целью изобретени   вл етс  повышение прочности и жесткости маски за счет искривлени  ее поверхности. На чертеже представлена конструк тивна  схема экранно-масочного узла катодно-лучевой трубки. Представленньй узел содержит фронтальную плоскую панель 1 экрана и теневую маску 2, св занную с панелью 1 с помощью элементов 3 креплени  и поддерживающих планок 4. Маска 2 выполнена со множеством щелевидных отверстий 5, расположенных параллельными колонками. По направлению расположени  колонок отверстий 5 маска 2 выполнена с гоф рами, имеющими вид плавной волны. 7 Ограничение снизу на рассто ние между смежными пиками гофров соответствует максимальной частоте волны гофров, а ограничение сверху соответствует нали ию по крайней мере одному периоду волны гофрировки. Элементы 3 креплени  маски целесообразно выполн ть эластичными, а поддерживающую планку 4 располагать по центральной линии профил  гофрированной маски. Возможны и другие схемы креплени . Тенева  маска, выполненна  с гофрами и соответствующим образом закрепленна , деформируетс  при нагреве таким образом, что незначительно смещаютс  к панели или от нее пики гофров, причем это смещение значительно меньше, чем в масках с плоской или слабо изогнутой поверхностью.This invention relates to an electronic technique, in particular to a j; Be technique. cathode ray tubes equipped with shadow masks. The mask fastening elements 3 are advantageously made elastic, and the support bar 4 is positioned along the center line of the corrugated mask profile. Other mounting patterns are possible. A shadow mask, made with corrugations and suitably fixed, is deformed when heated in such a way that the corrugations peaks slightly to or away from the panel, and this shift is significantly less than in masks with a flat or slightly curved surface.
