P. f. And m. F) P., 01 mol of ethyl p-toluene sulfonate-2-methyl-5beta-naphthylthiazole, 2-methylmercapto-benzthiazole iodoxylate and triethylamine were heated to a boil with 7 ml of absolute alcohol for 20 minutes. A thick mass of the yellow crystalline precipitate formed was washed with alcohol and ether and non-recrystallized from alcohol. The output of the dye was 43% of theoretical. Melting point - 287 ° (with decomposition). The iodine content found is 23.73% and the formula C26H23N2S2J corresponds to the structural formula of the dye: 3-ethyl-5 (beta-naphthyl) -thiazol-2 (3-ethnylbenzthiazol-2) -methylcyanine podid. The maximum is cool, this dye is a wavelength of 445 MMK.

Example 2. A methanolic solution of the dye; 3-ethyl-5-para-phenoxy-epilithiazol-2; was introduced into the chloro-silver emulsion with natural sensitivity ЕО So, 2-0.01 (GOST 2817-50); Z-ethylbenzthiazol-2 monomethine cyanine iodnda at the rate of 4 10 mol per 1 kg of the emulsion. At the same time, the sensitivity of the emulsion rose to So, 2-0.1. With an increase in the dose of the sensitizer to 8 and 12 mol, the sensitivity of the emulsion rose to So, 2-0.14 and 0.18, respectively. With this sensitivity, the sensitization zone stretched to 520 hM at a maximum of 480 hM.
