Известны плотномеры дл  определени  несущей способности покрытых дерном грунтов, снабженные градуированным вертикальным стержнем с поперечной руко ткой, передающим через пружинный динамометр усилие давлени  на наконечник , заглубл емый в исследуемый участок грунта. Недостаток этих плотномеров заключаетс  в том, что они не дают возможности онредел ть одновременно плотность грунта и сопротивление дернового покрыти .Densitometers are known for determining the bearing capacity of turf-covered soils, equipped with a graduated vertical rod with a transverse handle, which transmits through a spring dynamometer a force of pressure on the tip, which is buried in the area of soil under study.
