Description

Недостаток этих плотномеров заключаетс  в том, что они не дают возможности онредел ть одновременно плотность грунта и сопротивление дернового покрыти .Densitometers are known for determining the bearing capacity of turf-covered soils, equipped with a graduated vertical rod with a transverse handle, which transmits through a spring dynamometer a force of pressure on the tip, which is buried in the area of soil under study. The disadvantage of these densitometers is that they do not give the opportunity to simultaneously determine the density of the soil and the resistance of the turf cover.

This drawback is eliminated in the described densitometer, by the fact that its tip is made in the form of a flat wedge with an angle when approaching the angle of the internal friction of the majority of soils, which makes it possible to determine the density of the soil by the magnitude of the load turf cover by the value of the same load attributable to the tip width.

Ma drawing depicted described densitometer, front view and section of the tip on the AA.

4.The epa probe is composed of a rod 1 (with divisions from 0 to 100 cm), to the upper part of which a spring dynamometer .2 is attached, and to the lower part a removable tip 3. The tip is made in the form of a flat wedge 100 mm wide with an angle of 22 ° 30 at the vertex approaching the angle of internal friction of most soils. For the convenience of digging the tip into the ground, the meter is equipped with a handle 4.

When the tip is buried in the ground, the magnitude of the load, referred to the tip width, gives the resistance value (in kg / cm) of the turf slice. Upon further immersion of the tip, after breaking through the turf cover, the magnitude of the load, referred to the area of the base of the tip, characterizes (in kg-) the density of the soil.
