The invention relates to the manufacture of an abrasive tool, in particular a metal binder, used primarily for the manufacture of honing bars from cubic boron nitride. A known metal bond for making diamond tools, retaining copper, tin, iron, manganese, titanium disilicide, and tungsten carbide lj. The bond has a high wear resistance and is used in a tool for processing materials with high abrasive ability. However, it cannot be used for the manufacture of cubic boron nitride honing bars designed for machining steels, since the tool on this linkage is salted, loses cutting properties, and is not capable of self-sharpening due to excessive wear resistance. In addition, the bond is not adhesive with respect to superhard materials and weakly holds the grain on the surface of the circle, which also leads to clogging of the circle. Also known is a metallic bond for a tool made from cubic boron nide, containing titanium, iron boron, borides or transition metal nitrides 12. the presence in the bond of such a metal as titanium, which is an adhesive active element with respect to cubic boron nitride and others and to different materials, it improves the conditions for the fixation of grain in the bond, but it is not enough, since during sintering the bond is in a solid state, which is why active wetting of the grain onto the bond (spreading of the bond over the grain surface) does not occur. In juice, the sintering temperature (more than 1300 ° C) is a serious drawback of this binder, since it leads to a partial reverse transition of cubic boron nitride to the hexagonal (non-abrasive) form. Closest to the proposed is a metal bond having the following composition, wt.%: Copper 0.5-19 Tin 0.1-2 Titanium 0.01-0.5 Iron .15-30 Manganese 0.25-10 Phosphorus 0.05 -0.5 Tungsten carbideEtherly The presence of copper, tin, manganese and phosphorus in the bond makes it possible to somewhat lower the sintering temperature of the tool (up to 1200 ° C). However, the disadvantage of this bond is weak self-sharpening and tendency to clogging, which reduces the cutting properties of the tool and, as a result, the performance of the machining process. The purpose of the invention is to increase the cutting properties of tools made of cubic boron nitride, in particular. honing bars and increased productivity in the processing of steel. This goal is achieved in that the binder containing copper, tin, titanium, iron and solid filler contains components in the following ratio, wt%: Copper 64-70 Tin. 14-17 Titanium 10-15 Iron 0,01-0,1 Solid filler 1-5 As a solid filler, the binder contains titanium diboride in the form of dispersed particles. I Introduction to the composition of the proposed binder of dispersed particles of TiBg in the amount of 1–5 May. The% leads to a decrease in the hardness and strength of the bond base, since the particles act as dispersive hardeners. Increased diboride content. titanium over 5% leads to a significant increase in the viscosity of the metal melt binder during sintering of the tool and deterioration of the wetting conditions of the grain, while the processability of the binder deteriorates. The introduction of titanium diboride less than 1% does not lead to a noticeable increase in the quality and hardness of the binder. Copper is the main component of the binder and, in combination with tin (in a ratio of about 4: 1), forms the basis of the binder with a melting point of 930-940 ° C. When the copper content is less than 64%, the bond becomes excessively brittle, and an increase in its amount above 70% significantly increases its melting point. An increase in the tin content above 17% leads to a significant brittleness of the binder, and a decrease in the amount of tin below 14% leads to a significant plasticity of the binder and is prone to clogging. Titanium is introduced into the binder as an adhesive-active element in an amount of 10-15 wt.%, Providing a minimum wetting angle of cubic boron nitride with binder (10-12 degrees) and high mechanical properties. With an increase in the titanium content of more than 15%, the brittleness of the alloy increases, and its mechanical strength decreases due to the formation of large particles of a triple chemical needle-shaped compound. The introduction of titanium in less than 10% does not provide the necessary adhesion of the binder to the grain. The iron introduced into the composition of the binder in small amounts (up to 0.1 wt.% Plays the role of modifying the metal alloy binder, i.e., it contributes to the crushing of the binder structure during solidification, delaying the recrystallization of the alloy and thus increasing its mechanical strength The introduction of iron more than 0.1% leads to a deterioration of the self-sharpening and salinization of the tool. A decrease in its content of less than 0.01% does not have a noticeable effect on the structure of the binder. The proposed quantitative and qualitative composition of the binder has a temperature spec. and 960-1000 ° C, and a hardness of 95-110 HRB (i.e. about 20-25 HRC), while the known bond has a sintering temperature of 1200-1350 ° C and a hardness of 55-75 HRC. Due to the high adhesive activity of the proposed The bond to the abrasive grain in the molten state during sintering produces a characteristic porous and strong structure, which in combination with the above properties of the bond leads to an increase in the cutting properties of the tool and the performance of the machining process. In addition, the fine-grained structure 204 of the proposed binder contributes to a reduction in the roughness of the treated surface, for example, when honing with an LN-LM28 grit in CBN bars. Example. Five formulations of the proposed binder are prepared and for comparison the serial (basic) Ml and known bindings. Mixtures are prepared as follows. The components of the binder in the form of powders of copper, tin, titanium with a particle size of 0.063 µm and mixed more finely in mixers of the pin-on-barrel type for 2–4 hours, then fine powder and steel balls 10–12 mm are added to the mixture at the rate of 300 - 400 g per 100 g of the mixture and mixing is carried out in a vibrating mill for 3-5 hours, while iron is produced from 0.01 to 0.1% by weight. The powders of cubic boron nitride and the sentenced ligaments are mixed in a specific ratio (based on the concentration, cubic boron nitride and the specified porosity), cold pressed and then molded into a given size of the product is subjected to free decay in a vacuum of 1-5 "10 mm Hg. . In this case, the bond melted, spreads over the surface of the grain, forming a strong chemical bond with it. The finished product has a strong and porous structure that provides the tool with good cutting properties with a sufficiently high tool life. The tools on the proposed link, on the serial (base) link:% e M1 and known are tested for the operation of honing parts of the type of sleeve of hardened steel SHKh15. Comparative test data are presented in the table. As follows from the table, the tool on the proposed MA-4 link has the best cutting properties. Compared to cubic boron nitride honing bars on serial M1, its productivity increases 2.8 times.
