Description
The invention relates to agriculture and can be used in potato farming. There is a method of treating soil with propyl gallate to suppress the growth of potato tumors. There is also known a method of treating potato tubers with a solution of ferric chloride. However, the use of ferric chloride for the treatment of tubers does not provide an increase in potato yield and does not contribute to a decrease in the susceptibility of tubers to scab. The purpose of the invention is to increase the yield of potatoes and the reduction of tubers affected by scab. The goal is achieved by the use of propal ether of gallic ki slots of the formula as a growth regulator. - / OCH2CH2CH3 at a concentration of 0.01-0.015 wt.%. PRI and MER. After 15–20 days after harvesting, the club is sorted into planting fractions. If the treatment of tubers is planned in the spring before planting, they are placed without sorting or sorted into storage, where they are kept at a temperature. In order to implement the method, potato tubers in containers, on a conveyor belt or using a special tool on a potato planter are treated by wetting (0-1.5 s) with a prepared propyl gallate solution. If the processing of the tubers is carried out prior to storage, they are placed in storage. When preplanting tubers are planted immediately. Studies have shown that as a result of autumn treatment of tubers with a solution of propyl gallate in a concentration of 0.01-0.015%, there is no scab damage, while in the control it was 27.8%, and when treated with ferric chloride it was 0.005 M, 27.5% and 0%. , 01 M 11.4%. With spring treatment with a solution of propnpgallate in a concentration of 0.01%, there is also a significant decrease in scab damage to the tubers. For all periods of treatment of tubers, the crop of plants grown from them was higher than without treatment and when propylgallate was applied to the soil. The duration of wetting and wetting did not have a noticeable effect on crop change and scab damage. The results are shown in the table. Thus, the proposed method contributes to increasing the yield of potatoes and reducing scab damage to the tubers.
