A known method for determining morpholine by titrating it with a solution of acid ij. A known method for the determination of 2-mercaptobenzthiazole by mercury is metric titrated with a solution of nitric acid mercury 2. However, these methods do not allow the determination of 2-mercaptobenzthiazole and morpholine when they are present together from the same sample. The closest to the invention to the technical essence and the results are achieved by the method of determining morpholine and 2-mercaptobenzethisol in a captax morpholine salt with their joint presence by potentiometric titration of the analyzed sample with a solution of hydrochloric acid to a pH 3-4 jump, extracting the separated captax precipitate, rinse it with water until neutral, followed by dissolving in ethanol and titrating pacTBOpoi / alkali. The morpholine content is determined by the consumption of acid, and the content of 2-mercaptobenzthiazole in the captax 3 morpholine salt is determined by the consumption of kelochi. The disadvantages of the method are the duration and low accuracy of the method. The purpose of the invention is to reduce the time and improve the accuracy of the method. This goal is achieved by the fact that according to the method for determining 2-mercaptobenzthiazole and morpholine in the 2-mercaptobenzthiazol morpholinoE salt, a mixture of ethanol and chloroform taken in a 1: 1 volume ratio is added to the analyzed sample, the morpholine is determined by potentiometric titration with. mercap of tobezethiazol by titration with a solution of nitric acid mercury (1) in the presence of diphenylcarbazone. Ethyl alcohol dissolves the capta released during the titration of the sample being analyzed with acid, and chloroform separates the alcoholic solution of captax from an aqueous solution of titrated morpholine. Example 1. In a beaker, place 0.5 g of the sample to be analyzed, add 30 ml of a mixture of chloroform and ethavol (1: 1 parts by volume) and titrate with 0.2N nitric acid solution. Titration is carried out on any type of PH meter using a glass indicator electrode and a silver chloride-silver reference electrode. The titration is completed until the potential change ceases. According to the potential jump by the second derivative method, the amount of the nitric acid solution used for the titration is calculated. Then, not removing the electrodes from the solution, add 5–8 drops of diphenylcarbazone and titrate with 0.1 N nitric acid mercury (C) until a bright blue color develops. Note the flow rate of the titrant over the burette. Normality 0.2 n. a solution of nitric acid is preliminarily determined by a potentiometer on a drill, and a 0.1 N solution of nitric acid mercury over sodium chloride. The content of morpholine (X, wt.%) Calculated by FO) emule. - lOOO tn where Y, is the volume of 1 nitric acid solution that has passed the calibration of the sample being analyzed, ml; 87.12 is the molecular weight of morpholine; m is the mass of the sample of the analyzed sample. G; H is the normality of a solution of nitric acid. The content of captax (.%) Is calculated according to the formula where 2 is the volume of a solution of nitric acid mercury used for titration of the analyzed sample, ml; 167.25 is the molecular weight of captax; Nj is the normality of a solution of nitric acid mercury; iTt is the weight of the sample of the sample being analyzed, g. Example 2 -, (determined by a known method). About 1 g of an anaizable sample is placed in a glass and 50 ml of water is poured, then glass and chlorine-silver electrodes are let in and titrated with 0.5N. The solution of hydrochloric acid on a potentiometer of any type before the jump in pH is 3-4; the volume of the solution of hydrochloric acid (V) that has gone to titrate the sample is calculated by the method of the second derivative. Then remove the electrodes, rinse with water in a glass with sediment and cage (captax) is filtered on a Buchner funnel, washed with water until neutral with Congo, well sucked. The precipitate together with the filter is quantitatively transferred to a flask, captax is dissolved in this alcohol, a few drops of phenolphthalein are added and titrated with 0, a solution of sodium hydroxide to a steady pink color (V). The content of morpholine (wt. Calculated by the formula 1000 t where V is the volume of acid, followed by titration, ml; hn is the mass of the sample, g. The captax content (.%) Is calculated by the formula Y Ug 167.25 0.5 1 1000. M where V.2 volume of alkali, followed by titration of the sample, ml; 167, 25 is the molecular mass of captax; m is the mass of sample weight, g. The method was tested on a number of samples of the morpholine salt of captax obtained by administering the exact amount of morpholine and captax. ana.piea artificial mixtures of morpholine and captax according to the proposed and known methods are given in the table The data in the table show that the accuracy of determining morpholine and captax offered by the method is higher than that known. The technical advantages of the method are the reduction of analysis time, simplification and improvement of the accuracy of determination. Thus, one definition of the known method costs 45 minutes and the method is 10 minutes. The method eliminates the operations of isolating the precipitate and filtering the captax, as well as the possible captax loss associated with them.
