This invention relates to the enrichment of minerals and can be used in metallurgical and ore dressing s. Industry A known method of magnetic separation, including the effect of a variable magnetic field on the material to be divided fl. The closest to the proposed technical essence and the achieved result is a method of magnetic separation of a mixture of ferrolignite and non-magnetic particles, consisting in acting on a pulsed magnetic material. A disadvantage of the known methods is the low efficiency of the magnetic separation process. The purpose of the invention is to increase the efficiency of the process by preventing the formation of floccules. This goal is achieved by the fact that according to the method of magnetic separation of a mixture of ferromagnetic and nonmagnetic particles, involving the impact on the material of a pulsed magnetic field, the frequency of the magnetic field changes S interval 10-25 Hz, and the number of pulses per second is selected in the interval 25-32 . FIG. 1 depicts an electric separator, longitudinal section; in fig. 2 - then on top. The device includes electromagnets 1-4, a closed-type tray 5 installed under them, fixed in support 6, frame 7, springs 8 of a feeder consisting of a hopper 9 and electromagnet 10, and receivers 11 and 12 of separation products. The method of magnetic separation is carried out as follows. The source material containing fer. the magnetic particles, from the feeder by means of an electromagnet; 10 is fed into the tray 5 and directed under the poles of the electromagnet 1, which creates a pulsed magnetic field. frequency 10-25 Hz when the number of impulses 25-32. per second. Ferromagnetic particles form floccules and are attracted to the upper wall of the tray. And not ("rotary particles under the force of gravity roll into the receiver 11 of the non-magnetic fraction. Since electromagnet 1 creates a pulsed magnetic field, the ferromagnetic particles are strongly shaken, and in destruction floccules also participate in the walls of tray 5, made of non-magnetic conductive material. Electromagnets 2; 3 and 4 are connected with a phase shift to the electromagnet J. and between the time that allows the movement of ferromagnetic particles along the tray. In this case, additional cleaning of the material occurs. Electrohuggnit 4 creates only an alternating magnetic field and serves to divert the extracted ferromagnetic particles into the receiver 12 for a nonmagnetic fraction.- The pulsed magnetic field according to the proposed j method is created if the magnetic field induced With a half-wave rectifier alternating current of frequent 50 Hz, turn on and off successively along the length of the inductor (electromagnets 1-4), i.e. in the direction of movement of the ferromagnetic: material, for example, by 0.5-1 s, followed by interrupting the field with a frequency of 10-25 Hz and limiting the number of pulses in the range of 25-32. per second. When using a frequency of a pulsed magnetic field greater than 25 Hz, the efficiency of the separation process is deteriorated due to the formation of floccules of ferromagnetic particles. Reducing the frequency of this field to less than 10 Hz results in incomplete extraction of ferromagnetic particles from the section of the material consumed. Improving the selectivity of material separation 4 (obtaining pure magnetic and non-magnetic products) is achieved when the number of magnetic field pulses is 25-32 per second. Therefore, applying the proposed interruption frequency of a pulsed magnetic field will increase the efficiency of the magnetic separation process and provide a thin and continuous separation of the mixture. on ferromagnetic non-magnetic components.
