The invention relates to electrical engineering and can be used in converter equipment. There is a known method for starting a thyristor converter with artificial switching, in which the operating and switching thyristors are simultaneously pulsed by the Start command and are simultaneously pulsed. The disadvantage of this method lies in its low reliability. The closest in technical essence is the start method, in which a sequence of pulses is generated, working and commuting thyristors, a sequence of control pulses and switching thyristors is served, and a pulse of a duration of one perisade of the thyristor converter is simultaneously generated, and a sequence of control pulses is supplied working thyristors 2. The disadvantage of this start-up method is low reliability and the occurrence of emergency conditions during pole-phase short-circuits and damage to individual valves. The purpose of the invention is to increase reliability. This goal is achieved due to the fact that in the method of forming a delay pulse, the presence of switching thyristor currents is fixed, the above-mentioned supply of a sequence of control pulses to working thyristors is allowed after the formation of a delay pulse in the absence of switching thyristor currents, and prohibit if there is a current of at least 8 one of the commuting thyristors. The drawing shows a diagram of an apparatus for carrying out the method. The scheme contains working thyristors 1, switching nodes 2 switching thyristors 3, current sensors k, block 5 primary pulses, elements 6 and 7, outputs connected via transformers to thyristors 1 and 3, start block 9, output connected to the inputs of elements 6 control circuits switching thyristors 3, block 10 delay, the input connected to the output of block 9, the output of block 10 is connected to the outputs of the elements And 7 in the circuit working tiris83, RS-trigger 11, inverse tori 1 whose output is connected to the inputs of all elements And 6 and 7 and the triggering input is RS-three Gera 11 is connected to element 12, to the inputs of which are connected the output of block 9 and the output of element OR 13, to the inputs of which are connected the outputs of sensors k, and the output of block 10 is turned on to the third inverse input of element 12. Work thyristors 1 form a known conversion circuit one kind of current to another constant to alternating or vice versa, converting alternating current to alternating current. For this purpose, thyristors 1 and 3 from block 5 are given control signals in a known order. To turn off the working thyristors 1, having the property of incomplete control, are switching thyristors 3, to which control pulses are also sent from block 5. When switching on switching thyristor 3, they connect switching units 2 to work thyristors 1. Switching units 2 create switching currents flowing through the working thyristors 1. These currents are measured by the C sensors. If the working thyristors 1 are not turned on, switching on the switching thyristors 3 does not lead to the appearance of the switching current. The switching current occurs when switching on the switching thyristor 3 and in the event that the working thyristor 1 is broken or short-circuited (pole-pole type). In connection with the above, the essence of the operations of the method is that at the beginning of the start-up pulses are supplied only to the switching thyristors 3. At the same time, the currents are monitored using sensors 4. The absence of current indicates the strength of the working thyristors 1 and the absence of shorting them. Block 9 (usually a toggle switch or a relay contact) sends a signal to start the converter. This signal arrives at elements 6, to which the signal is fed from the inverse output of the RS flip-flop 11 and the signals from the output of block 5. The latter are transmitted through transformers 8 to switching thyristors 3, which force the working thyristors 1 to switch. In the absence of currents monitored by sensors k, the signal at the output of the And 12 elements is absent, and the RS flip-flop 1t supplies the enabling signal to all the elements And 6 and 7. 7. With the time delay determined by block 10, permission is given for the passage of pulses, working thyristors 1 and conversion the atelier is started to work. At the same time, the appearance of a signal at the output of block 10 blocks the passage of signals at the output of the element and 12. If the supply of pulses in the first start-up period to switching thyristors 3 causes the occurrence of switching currents, this indicates a malfunctioning of the working thyristors 1 or short-circuiting them. On this fact, at the output of one of the sensors k, a signal appears, passing 834 through the element OR 13, the element AND 12 to the trigger input of the RS flip-flop 11. At the same time, the resolution signal disappears at the inverse output of the RS flip-flop 11. Signal flow through the cells 6 and 7 becomes impossible, thus eliminating the alarms "1st short circuit mode, accompanied by large currents. Before starting the converter, the RS flip-flop 11 through the R-input is reset. Thus, this sequence of operations excludes the possibility of switching on, which is accompanied by an accident, which increases the reliability of the equipment, as well as its efficiency.
