Nemusí zohrievať zásobu vody ale len cirkulujúcu vodu v systéme. Elektrické vykurovacie zariadenia sa dajú použiť aj ako samostatné riešenie pre vykurovanie domu, bytu a pod. V tomto prípade nepotrebujeme kotol a kúrime bez strát. Je ľahko a ľubovoľne namontovateľné, má nízku spotrebu elektrickej energie, je jednoducho opraviteľné alebo vymeniteľné a dá sa pridať aj rezervné zariadenie pri možnej poruche niektorého zariadenia. Veľmi sú výhodné pri výpadku plynu, pretože elektrinu si vyrábame sami a aj v kombinácii s kotlom na tuhé palivo.
