Abstract

The invention relates to a glass grave intended as a design component of a grave with a glass tombstone

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

Nowadays graves and tombstones are made of stone or marble. The graves of stone or marble are formed either as frames with clay placed between them. The graves are also made as a whole covered with slabs of stone or marble or partially covered. When covering the whole or part of a grave made of stone or marble plates, these plates are placed on frames made of the same material. Gravestones in graves are usually also made of the same material as frames or planks.

The disadvantage of the known graves is the high cost, especially if the graves are covered with stone or marble slabs.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

Disadvantages of existing grave solutions are largely eliminated by the glass grave according to the invention. SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The invention is based on a support structure on which safety hardened glass plates are attached from the outside, forming the visible areas of the grave. According to a first preferred embodiment, the support structure is formed of an opaque non-corrosive material, e.g. sheet. According to a further preferred embodiment, the supporting structure comprises supporting elements forming a frame structure, wherein the weather-resistant opaque surface elements are mounted on the supporting elements.

The advantage of the invention is the simple and fast possible (assembly) of the entire grave, including the tombstone, the cost of making the grave is very low, and maintenance of the glass surfaces is also easy. And especially the gravestone can be any color adjusted. Unlimited possibility of themes and forms of printing and inscriptions, photos of the deceased, verses, different colors, the possibility of using your own favorite photos of what the deceased liked such as. cottage, sea, mountains, forest, whatever motive you wish. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The glass grave 10 shown in FIG. 1 to 3 consists of a sheet metal support structure 1 of a non-corrosive material. Safety hardened glass plates 2, which form the grave face of the grave, are attached to the external face sides of the supporting structure 1. The support structure 1 is fixed to a solid support, e.g. concrete slab or can be simply attached directly to the ground without concrete. The hardened glass plates 2 are mechanically fixed to the supporting structure 1 either by means of screws or by special sealant

The glass grave 10 shown in FIG. 4 to 6 consists of a support structure 1 consisting of interconnected galvanized steel support elements 1.2 forming a frame structure. On the frame structure of the supporting elements 1.2 are mounted opaque surface elements 3 resistant to weathering, e.g. laminated or OSB board. In FIG. 7 shows a glass grave 10 with a gravestone. Both parts are made of a steel or sheet metal support structure 1 of a non-corrosive material. Safety hardened glass plates 2, which form the grave face of the grave, are attached to the external face sides of the supporting structure 1. In this case too, the supporting structure of the grave and the gravestone can be formed by a frame structure to which opaque OSBs are attached and hardened glass plates are attached thereto.
