Abstract

Technical field

The present invention is in the field of transport and warehousing and relates in particular to devices for handling materials and products, in particular pallets of various constructions.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

Initially, flat pallets were used only for their original purpose, which means transporting and handling, or possibly storing, more permanently such goods that could not fall off the pallet when the pallet was handled approximately horizontally. Such goods include plate-like or prismatic items such as bricks, building blocks, bulk packed materials such as cement, lime in the construction industry, sugar, flour, rice, cereals in the food industry and agriculture, and possibly also goods packed in boxes, boxes or boxes. Due to the widespread expansion of transport, with the aid of flat pallets and an increase in their number worldwide, the handling of pallets has also been considerably accelerated, so that further action has to be taken to secure goods on the pallets against slipping. In this context, various ways of tying goods and fixing them on pallets have been developed.

Easily assembled and dismountable, economically transportable flat pallet attachments, which would allow their use for other purposes, eg. for the transport and storage of bar stock or the size of smaller and unpackaged products such as flat pallet accessories on the market are rare. Specialized pallet solutions for all possible purposes are also available in the specialist literature collections. For spatial resp. t. SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

It is an object of the present invention to provide a pallet system which, without having to perform mechanical adjustments on a flat pallet while maintaining the external dimensions, makes it possible to use them for the transport of piece goods. However, the use of this newly developed add-on pallet system is conditional on the use of already known technical solutions, which could be characterized e.g. properties of the subject of patent no. 279 898, or the properties of the utility model subject of Germany no. G 93 04 124.1.

The subject matter of both documents is a holder with perpendicular stands on which the individual segments of the superstructure system according to the invention are slid. An important feature of the holders is that they are displaceable along the long side of the flat pallet, which greatly facilitates the installation of the superstructure segments according to the present invention.

The advantage of the superstructure pallet system according to the invention is that no part of the superstructure parts extends beyond the outer contours of the flat pallet, and also that no mechanical adjustments need to be made on the flat pallet in order to create the possibility of attaching the superstructure.

The invention therefore relates to an extension system for flat pallets, which consists of end segments of the ground plan "C" and straight side segments equipped with connecting eyelets. The connection of the end segments to the side segments or the two end segments is effected by connecting rods.

The side segments may be replaced by suspension segments provided with connecting hooks for connection to the end segments. The individual types of pallet superstructure segments can be freely combined with each other.

The main and essential features of the invention of the flat pallet extension system are that the side arms of the end segments are provided with sleeves which serve to slide the segments onto the support stands, thereby positioning them on the flat pallet. The superstructure can be closed on the pallet either by hanging the suspension segments in the connecting lugs of the end segments, or by connecting the connecting lugs of the end segments to the connecting lugs of the side segments by means of a connecting rod. The connecting eyelets of the end and side segments as well as the connecting hooks of the hinged segments can advantageously be made of the overlapping ends of the horizontal elements of the segments by bending or bending.

Individual segments can be produced eg. grid reinforcing mats as shown in the accompanying drawings, or solid material e.g. Sheets, plates of plastic or wood.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The attached figures show a superstructure for flat pallets, made of a grid mat, and all detailed parts of the superstructure are adapted to this starting material. Since this alternative embodiment of the superstructure is the most complicated, it has been chosen to illustrate and describe the subject matter of the invention.

The invention therefore relates to a flat pallet extension system comprising a base pallet 23 and a vertical stand holder 17 fixed thereon, end segments 11 of planar shape "C" and straight side segments 12 provided with connecting lugs 14 and / or straight hinges The coupling of the side segments 12 to the end segments 11 is carried out by the connecting rods 18. The simplest assembly of the superstructure system can be a superstructure consisting of only two end segments 11 with longer side panels 24, directly connected to each other by the connecting rods 18. Another essential feature of the solution is that the suspension segments 25 for hanging into the connecting lugs 14 of the end segments 11 are provided with connecting hooks 20, with a vertical part 19, to which the inclined part 26 is connected.

All the horizontal elements 16 of the end segments 11 and the side segments 12 are provided with connecting lugs 14, preferably made by rounding the free ends of the horizontal elements 16 and strengthening them with an end weld.

The simplest alternative solution of the present invention is a superstructure consisting of a pallet 23, holders 17 and two end segments 11 directly connected to each other by a connecting rod 18.

Another embodiment of the present invention is a flat pallet superstructure whose sleeves 13 are formed alternately inwardly and outwardly by bent portions of the horizontal elements 16, the sidewalls 24 of the end segments 11.

The assembly of the superstructure is performed in the following way: Holders 17 are attached to the pallet 23 and sleeves 13 are pushed onto the holders 17; rigidly connected to the sidewalls 24 of the end segments 11. If the superstructure consists of two end segments 11, they are joined together by two connecting rods 18 and the pallet is ready for use.
