Abstract

A method pertaining to sampling blood in conjunction with blood taking processes and manual plasmapheresis with the aid of a blood bag (1) and connecting hose (2, 4) and a needle (3) which is intended for insertion into the blood donor, in a known manner. The method is characterized in that the hose is provided with a hose coupling (5) and in that a hose clamp (6) is fitted between the coupling and the needle. When sampling blood, the hose (2, 4) is closed-off on both sides of the coupling (5) and the coupling is then loosened and that part of the coupling which is connected to the needle-accommodating part of the hose (4) is connected to a sub-pressure sleeve or the like, in which one or more sub-pressure tubes or the like in sequence is/are inserted for collecting blood samples.

Description

Current methods of collecting blood samples in combination with blood collection and manual plasmophoresis are unacceptable with respect to infection and infection.

From the needle injected into the blood donor, the tube goes into the blood bag and any accessories. In a typical embodiment, the bag is placed on a balance that detects when the amount of blood collected from the donor is correct, after which the tube near the blood bag is automatically compressed firmly, thereby blocking the blood flow. A metal clamp is then attached to the tubing and the tubing is broken between the metal clamp and the hemostatic medical forceps; the blood bag is then taken for further processing. Blood is emptied from the bag into open tubes by opening pliers attached to the part of the hose that is connected to the needle. After one or more tubes have been filled with a given amount of blood, this amount being estimated only by looking at the tubes, the open tubes are transferred to the workbench. The non-rigid plugs are now fitted to the appropriate tubes, which are used to shake the rotating disc in the usual manner.

Tento až doteraz používaný spôsob má vela nevýhod. This method used hitherto has many disadvantages.

For example, the tubing is a full working day), and dirty scissors, open tubes, cut with scissors (one that creates the risk of spilled blood) Next, the blood is emptied into, which creates the risk of more spilled blood and blood deposited on the outer surface of contaminated tubes. Spillage from tubes as a result of unintentional vibration during tube transportation and when the tubes are placed on the workbench Use of non-rigid plugs or closures means that the plugs can come loose from the tubes on the rotating disc. If there is a strong risk of bursting the tubes with the following additional blood spillage and possible cuts to the operator, the personnel operating the blood collection device are exposed to serious risks of infection and infection with serious consequences.

Podstata vynálezuSUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

Cielom predloženého vynálezu je úplne vylúčiť nedostatky horeuvedeného doteraz známeho spôsobu a taktiež vylúčiť riziko infekcie personálu obsluhujúceho zariadenia na odber krvi. Tieto ciele sú dosiahnuté v zhode s týmto vynálezom spôsobom popísaným v charakterizujúcich odstavcoch nasledujúcich nárokov. The object of the present invention is to completely eliminate the drawbacks of the above known method and also to eliminate the risk of infection of the personnel operating the blood collection device. These objects are achieved in accordance with the present invention in the manner described in the characterizing paragraphs of the following claims.

Prehlad obrázkov na výkreseAn overview of the figures in the drawing

Vynález bude teraz podrobnejšie opísaný pomocou priložených výkresov, ktoré schematicky znázorňujú spôsob postupu odberu krvi od darcu krvi. The invention will now be described in more detail with the aid of the accompanying drawings, which schematically illustrate a method of collecting blood from a blood donor.

Obr.1 je schematickým znázornením postupu odberu krvi a ukazuje počiatočnú fázu odberu vzoriek krvi; obr.2 a 3 znázorňujú schematicky prvú fázu odberu vzoriek krvi; obr.4 znázorňuje druhú fázu odberu vzoriek krvi; a obr.5 znázorňuje tretiu fázu odberu vzoriek krvi vo väčšom meritku.Fig. 1 is a schematic representation of the blood collection procedure and shows the initial phase of blood sampling; Figures 2 and 3 show schematically the first stage of blood sampling; Fig. 4 shows a second phase of blood sampling; and Fig. 5 shows the third phase of blood sampling on a larger scale.

Časť hadičky 4 má tiež hadicovú svorku 6.In the drawing there is a blood bag 1 and a tubing 2 extending from said bag. The needle that will be injected into the blood donor is labeled 3 and is connected to a portion of the tubing 4 which is connected to the tubing 2 by means of the tubing 5 (in the case of the Luer ending known in the drawing). The tube part 4 also has a hose clamp 6.

Obr.l znázorňuje situáciu, v ktorej je ihla 3. pripojená k darcovi, hadicová svorka 6 je otvorená a krv je vpúšťaná do vaku 1.Fig. 1 shows the situation in which the needle 3 is connected to the donor, the hose clamp 6 is opened and the blood is admitted into the bag 1.

Svorka 6 je aktivovaná na utesnenie časti hadičky 4, po čom je hadička 2 odpojená od časti hadičky 4 pomocou spojky hadie 5.When the bag absorbs the correct amount of blood, as indicated by the weights mentioned in the introduction, the tubing 2 is compressed by some type of clamp that cannot be opened - e.g. a metal clamp, or the tubing may be heat welded (as schematically indicated in point 7 in Figs. 2 and 3). The clamp 6 is activated to seal part of the tubing 4, after which the tubing 2 is disconnected from the tubing part 4 by the hose coupling 5.

The blood bag 1 and the tube 2 are removed for further processing.

Je samozrejmé, že puzdro 9 má hadicovú spojku (Luerova koncovka), ktorá licuje na spojku hadie 5.The connector 5 (Luer end) of the tubing part 4 is then connected to a known vacuum tube housing 9 - see Fig. 4. A needle adapter 10 (see FIG. 5) is inserted into the housing in a known manner, surrounded by a pantyhose 11 which can be penetrated by a needle. It will be appreciated that the housing 9 has a hose coupling (Luer end cap) which is in line with the hose coupling 5.

A reduced pressure tube equipped with a rubber stopper is inserted into the housing and the needle 10, which is moved by the pantyhose, penetrates through the stopper 13. The hose clamp 6 is open and the tube 12 is filled with a precise amount of blood due to the vacuum present in the tube.

The vacuum tube 12 is then removed and the hole formed by the needle 10 in the plug automatically closes when the rubber in the plug again resumes its position.

The tube 12 can now be transported for further processing of blood without the risk of blood spilling.

From the above method, it is clear that the blood will not be spilled, nor will it contaminate the person taking the blood or preparing the blood samples, and that each tube can be filled with a precise amount of blood.

It can be assumed that the problem can also be solved by connecting so-called. Y-shaped couplings to the additional tubing to prepare blood samples. In this case, the hose must have a breaker tip or hose clamp and also a Luer cap at one end. This method could allow blood sampling during the current blood leakage process.

After testing based on this idea, the idea was rejected because the blood remained in the tubing and the Y-shaped piece activated the coagulation factors that were carried into the collection vessel, which must not in any way occur.

This risk is completely ruled out in the first-described design, as the blood collector is disconnected during blood collection. The use of this solution is also extremely easy, cheap to manufacture, easy to sterilize and easy to pack.

In order to increase the security of the system during distribution, the clutch (Luer Terminator) may in practice be provided with some type of seal, for example with shrunken plastic film, so that the recipient can see if the clutch is intact and hence sterile.
