Abstract

The mustard mattress according to the invention is designed for lying or sitting for people being under medical treatment. The mattress is made of two envelopes, but the outer envelope (2) and (3) are stitched together along their edges, and the inner insert (1) has pockets (5) filled with the seed of white mustard. The insert (1) is placed through the opening (6) inside the envelopes (2), and the mattress (3) according to the invention.

Technical field

The invention relates to a mattress filled with mustard seeds which can be used while lying and / or sitting during medical care.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

Such mattresses, filled with mustard seeds or other material having therapeutic properties, are commonly known and used for treatment. Known mattresses are manufactured as flat bags filled with mustard seed and then spread out, for example on a patient's bed. Such mattresses could not be used for sitting and require each time to spread out the entire contents of the bag. Another solution is known from the description of Polish utility model no. 91 812 having a flat, rectangular fabric wrapper divided by slits in both wrapper surfaces into smaller chambers filled with white mustard seeds. This mattress has three parallel rows on its entire surface and each consists of narrow transverse tiles formed by sewing together both surfaces of the package. These bags are filled up to three quarters of their volume with mustard seeds.

The known mustard-filled mattresses had many drawbacks, such as high labor intensity and relatively much time to maintain them in the necessary hygienic condition.

In order to avoid these drawbacks, a mattress filled with a mustard seed according to the invention has been developed.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

A mustard-filled mattress according to an embodiment of the present invention is formed as two rectangular assembled packs, filled in stitched bags with white mustard seeds.

The mattress has an outer cover made in two parts, shaped as rectangles stitched around the edge and made of natural leather and cotton. Inside the package is a cloth insert. The liner has bags filled with white mustard seeds and bags stitched horizontally along the entire width of the liner, and the width of the bags is about two percent of the overall length of the liner. The outer skin leather cover has an opening on the mattress parallel to its width, which can be closed by a zipper.

The liner bags are eighty percent by volume filled with white mustard seeds, which, according to an embodiment of the invention, imparts a uniformity to the thickness of the mattress. Putting on the outer mattress cover, a padding filled with mustard seeds, protects it from dirt and sweat, from mechanical damage, extends its durability and becomes easy to maintain. This also improves its use. By using natural leathers according to an embodiment of the invention, the contact with the mattress becomes particularly pleasant to allergic persons sensitive to organic materials.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The mattress filled with mustard seeds according to an embodiment of the present invention is designed as a double wrapper with flat, rectangular portions. The mattress insert 1 has an outer cover (insulation) made of two along the edge of the stitched materials, leather 2 and cotton 3.

In the leather part of the cover there is a flat opening 6 for insertion of the insert 1 inside the whole width of the mattress.

The insert 1 has transverse bags 5, made by stitching 4 over the entire width of the mattress and filled to eighty percent of its volume with white mustard seeds. The liner 1 is protected from dirt, sweat and mechanical damage by the outer packaging, which prolongs its use.
