The aim of the invention is to provide a concept of a terminal strip (1) and surge arrestor plug (2), where it would be possible by absolutely keeping the existing and possible improvements of electric characteristics of the assembly in the sense of more effective surge protection compared to the currently known assemblies, to shunt incoming/outcoming wires of the terminal strip (1) without prior removal of the plug from the socket. According to the invention this type of assembly is made in such a way that on the chassis (10) of the terminal strip (1) on each of the lateral sides (101, 102) apart from the specified holder (17) at least one arrestor element (18) is provided and that along the longitudinal sides (103, 104) of the chassis (10) of the strip (1) there is a number of shunting collars (12) made from two anchor adapters (121, 122) one located next to the other and that the available terminal strip (1) group (11) can hold a miniature plug featuring a surge protection assembly.
