Abstract

The device for the classification of banknotes and other sheets of paper, man-made material, metal and similar featuring at least two parallel edges where there's a feeder for one of the two edges in order to classify the sheets, a display and a measurement device for determining the distance between the two facing parallel edges. To provide reliable classification it is anticipated that the device consists of at least one sheet body (1) featuring a feeder parallel folding edge (4) providing the folding of a sample sheet.
