Abstract

The subject of invention is a bridge link (i. e. "eight-shaped" link) for tyre chains especially chains used to prevent the tyre from sliding. The base of the link is a body (4) which has at least one connection hole (5, 6) for suspending other chain links. The longitudinal edges (19, 20) of the link body form a side surface for supporting the tyre or wear surface. Above the latter protrudes at least one profile section (21). The latter, on at least a part of its length, runs at an oblique angle with respect to plane (L) of the longitudinal centre of the discussed link, and extends practically over the entire length and width of the wear side (20), as the profile part (21) has at least two legs (22, 23) lying at a given angle one to another.
